Well I agree with Demons32....next year when we play Carlton, I want to see big signs that will catch the tv cameras saying Chris Judd = Sellout and so forth.

I've been thinking, choosing Carlton is totally contrary to what Judd wanted, i.e. good facilities, a team with a winning culture, the chance of immediate success and to be able to play on the MCG. Although I agree that 1.8 mill is fairly tempting for anyone, and the future roles and jobs being lined up are certainly a plus, but you never know, he might have chosen the Blues because they could compensate the eagles the best, with top picks and another decent player in Kennedy. You never know, we might have even discussed trades, and not have had a better offer than Carlton. Who knows, just trying to make something rational out of smoke and mirrors.

I really don't know what to type.

It all seems like one big joke. A sick, sick joke.

What the hell Chris Judd? How on earth could you bring yourself, such a successful, talented player, to want to play for a club that is, well, not really renowned for being successful or talented to put it politely?

Why degrade yourself so much, and completely go against more or less all of the criteria you layed out at the beginning of the process?

I even think Fevola would be thinking 'Why the hell does he want to come here?'

Oh! I've got it.. you money-hungry little scavenger. And don't think the rest of the footy world haven't got it either.

We're starting to see you now for a bit more than just a very, very talented player with a hot girlfriend.

Prepare to cop it BIG TIME.

One other point.....didn't that jerk say that he didn't want the captaincy of any team he went to? And ol' Pratt has offered it to him if he joins? Lol, what a transperant and farcical situation.

One thing however......depending on his groin this could be Koutafides all over again ;-D Ahh Carlton.

My fellow demons.. I am equally disgusted after being caught up in the romance of Judd becoming a demon.

But as it now is apparent that the motivating factor for Chrissie was dollars, I am happy to move on.

As Frank Lopez said "Don't underestimate the other guys greed."

MFC FOREVER.

I cannot believe after all he said re success, facilities etc he totally does a backflip and ends up at the team that tanked themselves silly to get the picks. Imagine now, if we had tanked and forced them to win the game - would we now be the team of choice???

Facilities - Bah humbug! They are terrible and although upgrading, as everyone has said, it will take a similar time to ours to come up to scratch. Rubbish excuse.

Success- the thing he can achieve that he probably never has is to win the wooden spoon and boy wont we love sticking it to him then.

Play on the G - maybe three times in a year possibly four or five if all the home teams play them twice.

Money - well there we go...the one thing he said was not a big thing to him and can truly be the only thing.

I hate the thought that cheating got the blues this guy and that he didnt take that into consideration - it was blatant. I dont like it at all and fully expected him to name the pies.

MInd you I am glad he didnt as it would kill me to see him wear black and white.

I cant wait till next season when we rock back into the eight with our new no. 4 pick winning the Rising Star and to look back over our "shoulders" to see Mr Judd waving his little wooden spoon and looking very sorry for himself.

Watch out Juddy ,Fevola might try root your missus! I reckon he will be lucky to last two years at Carlton and he'll want out!. Have fun with all the other drug bags at Carlton they didn't get rid of. It will be just like playing for the eagles again.

Yes. The challenge to see how many one hundred dollar notes he can squeeze into his wallet before it explodes.

Brilliant!

This is certainly a twist in the Chris Judd tale isn't it? Perhaps a career as a psycho-thriller novelist beckons.

"All that glitters is not gold !! " ???

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
