Featured Replies

Hi all i know this ain't a big deal but its a big deal to me, how is this allowed to happen?

My nephew gives me a calendar each year for Christmas.Screenshot_20251202_084314_Gallery.jpg

I hope no one from our club has ticked off on this complete malarke.

This would have to be ticked off from someone in the AFL department one would think.

AFL asleep at the wheel once again.

They have been in the stores for at least two months so were probably printed six months ago.

Count yourself lucky that they didn't include Petracca and Oliver as well (although I don't know how Pickett wasn't included).

Sheeesh! How many good selling days would they have lost had they waited until mid-November? Only need to make <gag> Black Friday these days!

Disappointing but Judd didn’t show his hand until just before the trade period, bloody annoying that this got through to the keeper, we lose a month, although we could paste a copy of Kozzie over it.😡

Is Steven May featured on the month between April and June?

Oh, the opportunities...

The publishers should consult Demonland to find out who's photos should be used. Just look at the contracts thread and avoid anyone who doesn't have a contract beyond the current year. And then avoid anyone for whom there's been speculation as to the possibility of moving. If they'd done that this year, they would have known to avoid using McVee, Petracca and Oliver.

It won't be foolproof (May could have left, but didn't), but better than what they do now.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
