AFLW: PF vs North Melbourne

I bumped mowing my front lawn to catch some of this ... great start by the Lady Dees with the first two goals 👍

37yo Paxy kicks a goal and an assist in the first 2 minutes!

The North fans can [censored] right off

bronx cheers for the umps when the free kick count is 2-2

we are playing better. get over it

What an excellent start.

Loved Macca's tackle and pass, she's everywhere. So good for such a small player.

We're playing as a really cohesive team

How was that not in the back umpire ?

Blatant, smashed her in the back.

We're blowing a good start again

Great first quarter girls. They look very switched on and hungry today

Great quarter. Paxy having a very good game.

Hopefully we can keep this going

Commentator mentioned that no team has kicked more than five goals against them we are up to four in the first quarter. Keep it up girls, GoDees.❤️💙💕👍

Dont do that goldy

(just caught up on Kayo) The girls have started well, playing very well.
haven't watched a north game all year. But we need to keep our structure in the fwd 50 to contest the ball coming quickly out of packs. North spread really well and are well drilled. Shut that down like we have, north arn't as dangerous., especially if you stop them getting out the back.

Looks like we spent a lot of time prepping to play North.

Just praying we can sustain it for the whole game.

a lot of soft 50s

Geez another 50. Crazy stuff

Well done captain

North fans not happy with umps. Can’t say I blame them but I guess we deserve to be on the tight end of it for once

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
