What a great player Clarrie is!

I watched Barrassi, Dixon, Spencer, Flower ,Petracca, Schwarz, Adams( not Jed, I’m anfraid!) and Stynes, representing our club. Clarrie is right up there with them . I don’t understand why a club would dispense with such a star. ( I know there must be reasons that we fans aren’t privy to)Apparently he was much loved by team mates.

GWS must be laughing.

I wish Clarrie all the best at GWS.

If you've paid any attention to what's been happening over the past three years it's not rocket science why we 'dispensed' him. I highly doubt that GWS are laughing as we're getting just about the same output from Steele for a much lower price.

And I highly disagree that he's right up there with the very best given that we have Max Gawn in the side right now.

I reckon Pickett's game in the middle yesterday was far more effectual and skilled than anything Oliver has served up since 2023 :)

His second half was phenomenal!

Clayton is playing quite well for GWS now (racking up stats without having that much impact) but does anyone really think he is going to get through 4 years up there without going off the rails again? We tried for years and eventually enough is enough, if he’s already pulling all nighters at Chapel St nightclubs mid week during the season that doesn’t bode well at all…

He's just spitballing.. he wouldnt know.

Yeah. I understand this now 😂

Hey Splinters I might not always agree with you ,but us AMO boys who have a premiership to their name got to stick together .Clayton Oliver is a Premiership Demon and he will always be a Demon ,so all you Demonlanders who feel the need to go on about Clayton in a negative way not good !

I certainly WAS NOT

One of my favourite moments of Clayton in the Red and Blue was when that Great Collingwood Legend Brian Taylor was doing his roving mike in the change rooms after a game ,goes up to Clayton totally dribbling out of his mouth and Clayton sitting on the floor up against the wall just looks at him and wipes him, Loved It .

Caroline Wilson has basically just re-iterated this story on Agenda Setters tonight. Clayton was NOT there yesterday

Shame Caro didn’t check in via picket fence before she broke this story - not in town apparently 😂 !

So Clayton couldn't be bothered going to see Max on his 250th
Short Memory Clarry...Remember staying with Max and Family when you were a mess??

How absolutely disrespectful, just because you were in a night club till 6am

Not at all surprised though...

If the story is true, and I suspect it probably is, that tells you everything you need to know about why we punted him.

Couldn't get his [censored] together to show up for Gawn's 250th, after everything Gawn did for him over the last 3 years.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
