Its an industry of young men with lots of free time, people make mistakes and people can change. Is he an absolute unrecoverable disaster? I find that extremely hard to believe. Cause his footy is definitely not 3rd round pick material for the next 5 years.

GWS is basically waiting for us to blink. The whole nonsense around not having cap space basically is designed to make us sweat. In part, yes. We had the Petracca drama, Viney rumoured to be going to North, a President in the hot seat, a CEO wanting to trade Oliver. The club was under siege in the media. It took the path of least resistance.

The club has known of Oliver's off-field issues for many many years. And rightly protected and cared for him but there comes a time when that wasn't the best for Oliver's welfare but no-one (except Pert) was willing to make the hard decision.

It's an extremely limited market and there's interest from only one party (GWS)

No other club wants to touch him and GWS and the MFC know that. There's no bidding war

The 3rd round pick is tokenism, as it's all about the money

As previously stated, we'd have our limit and GWS will have their limit in terms of who pays what

I can see a deal falling through as the cooling off period could be kicking in (for GWS) Buyer Beware and all that
