The Bailey Humphrey Thread

Featured Replies

I was hoping there was a gif from the "I'm from Moe!" man from The Footy Show. But not to be.

Don't be surprised if it ends up being:

Oliver to GWS for pick 13 (we pay 35% of his salary).

Petracca and 13 to GC for Humphrey, Pick 7 and F2

WELCOME TO THE DEES BAILEY HUMPHREY

is hopefully what we’ll be saying soon.

Don't look now but Bailey Humphrey just posted a bunch of photos to instagram. Many of them in Suns gear. Hopefully it is just a periodical photo dump that players occasionally do when they haven't posted in a while.

If you want to go all reading the tea leaves then he captioned it "I'm from Moe" and then you can infer that perhaps he is stating that this (Moe) is where I'm from and I'm coming home. Here are a couple of other photos of me in my old job.

PS There is also a photo of him in Lions gear so maybe that is a parting middle finger shot to his old club for not letting him go home.

Ok back to your regularly scheduled day dreaming or crying into your hip flask.

Or maybe Moe was what was inside us all along..

Moe is closest to Casey of all the other training grounds…

I’m just saying

Surely if we are paying a huge chunk of his salary pick 13 alone is not in our best interests.

I've updated it - meant to read we pay 35%.

The more we pay, the better the deal will be.

I've been told that Oliver is a key to us getting Humphrey.

Yep. Some real loser vibes in here.

It's a bit sad that some people are so afraid of hope and happiness. It's their comfort blanket.

Not my expectation, it's what I've been told.

Oliver is a key part of landing Humphrey.

We hold all the pieces for a trade with Humphrey.

Club would be ecstatic to land:
Humphrey, a future pick and a top 10 pick for Petracca and Oliver.

What are you suggesting? That he lives in Moe and then drive the 1 hr and 15 minutes to Casey Fields or lives in inner suburban Melbourne and drive 1 hr and 15 mins to Casey Fields.

Then there is factoring in travel from Moe to Gosch's (1 hr and 30 mins). Same time from Moe to the G.

Moe to Caulfield is 1 hr and 30 minutes when he is on the verge of retiring.

Take public transport to Caulfield Racecourse you say? 2 hrs and 30 mins from Moe.

Unfortunately I don't think it is possible anymore to get Pick 13 for Oliver. We'd probably have to pay his entire salary to get close to a deal like that. 😭

Can we tempt him with a year long Myki pass?

She’s suggesting if he wanted to take off for a weekend or night in Moe, doing so from Casey is going to be a faster trip than the other clubs can offer.

I’m saying that on the days we train at Casey he can easily go home and visit or stay with his family

It’s a hell of a lot closer than Dingley

Has anyone told BH that he would have the privilege of being featured on the Demon Dash if he comes to us?

And the Demonland banner. Even better.

All I’m hearing is the best training facilities in Moe for the one and only, the mighty Moelbourne Demons.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
