Whole team has lost the plot

mentha getting work done on his hamstring according to the commentators

wow the peppies are getting some maggoting go their way

ball was touched off the boot then by about 5 hands in a marking contest... and paid to them for another i50 shot on goal

the midfield has not been able to get their hands on the ball since the first term; laurie, billings, woey 2.0, culley barely had a touch for two quarters

Did they break out the bucket bong in the sheds at half time? We've gone to sleep.

And.... Nice goal by Harry Sharp from the boundary

Verrall's ruck work is pretty good tonight, and Jeffo looks strong in the air.

they goal from some hardworking chain of handballs that got started cos adams went to ground in the contest on the wing and they were forward of the ball

back to 2 points their way

verrall the best clearance player for the dees tonite - his bomb forward lands in henderson's lap and he goals from just on 50

dees back in front by 4

must be getting very close to 3/4 time

Shocking free kick and they get a goal.

goal for bombers after a stupid insufficient intent call against us.

It has to be the biggest dumpster fire rule in footy.

another appalling free kick for insufficient intent against fullarton - really, he shoulda been penalised for not showing any effort to get the ball, and they have players free EVERYWHERE

monteath kicks a beautiful goal from the boundary

this kid is a ripper - should definitely be drafted at the end of this year based upon this vfl debut alone

Kalani White has a long way to go. Very poor awareness. I hope he makes it but don't worry about father son rule we will take him in the rookie draft.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
