Does anyone know the Famous Chris from Camberwell Caller on SEN?

IMO love him, but whether you love him or hate his calls. This bloke is as passionate as they come and I think he needs a platform to launch properly and Iā€™d love to be the one to do that!

Does anyone remember the swearing beat on Good News Week? Pretty sure Mikey Robbins did it?

Reminds me of Chris when he fires up!

He was on Dawyne's segment today. He mentioned Pert should be getting involved with another review or something to that effect.

When Dwayne tried to mention Pert is no longer there Chris was ranting so strongly that he didn't hear Dwyane and just kept going šŸ˜„

Bloke could talk underwater.

I recorded this call in 2017 when I thought how tragic it would be if he came and went without having his super helium voice captured for prosperity.

At the time it didn't seem likely there'd eventually be a YouTube clip of him talking flag.

Imagine him revving the boys up pre game!! And another thing Max!!

I grew up in Camberwell. Though I'm not Chris. Went to Camberwell South Primary and remember Jim Stynes visited after he won the Brownlow and got his autograph.

Wow! Even back then Stynes knew Chris would become famous! šŸ˜‚

He's a Legend Chris, you'd think he's Dwayne's favourite caller but he never gives him any prizes.šŸ˜‚

He wouldn't be happy atm i would presume, I wonder what his MFC contacts would have been saying to him in the last couple of weeks?

Dwayne would offer him a prize but he can't get a word in.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

Itā€™s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the Ā Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measlyĀ 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?Ā  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
