I would hope so, seems like a circus like weโ€™re throwing out the baby with the bath water, Oliver has been a knuckle head no doubt, the list managers who signed him & others to long huge contracts are still at the club making these new decisions! Were is their accountability ???

sometimes I wonder if both CP5 and oliver held the club over a barrel and demanded big $$ or they would look elsewhere

Smart list management for mine. Letโ€™s concentrate on bringing in some younger talent that is going to peak around the time that the Tassie team comes in. Hawthorn did the same around the time GWS and GC came in. Itโ€™s an ideal time to peak.

Would be perfectly for them

Clarry even with his reduced form would be a weapon for the Giants. he just needs to win the ball and get it out

Tom Morris.. dbag

Side note, would be a good fit.

Wonder if theyโ€™ll give us anything for him?

did the footage get taken down by channel 7?

No, it's all over Code Sports now. It doesn't look as well. By the vision Mitch Cleary was close on his tail following Clarry.

You're right, Trac has decided he wants out because King wouldn't look him in the eye.

NOT EVERYTHING IS OUR FAULT!

Isnโ€™t that what Tom Green does but better

On the money E T imo. Trac and Oliver will forever be in my heart for their service but both have / had issues that would prevent a serious culture reset.

G. Lyon's insightful question to King this morning inferring lack of good kicks in the team allowed Stephen to explain in length about how the game has passed by teams hard on the inside only.

The ball needs ultimately to be fed outside to excellent distributors where the damage can be done. Apart from bowey who do we have. That's what we need coming in the other way.

Clarry will be better off in a new environment and so will we be. Trac is just being trac.

Huge test coming up for our list management to not sell the farm. Can't see this happening again under new management in smith and guerra.

Giants have picks 12, 31, 33

could push for Max Gruzewski given he's very much on the fringe there.

Considering we are the one pushing him hard out the door then expect a 2nd rounder at best.

Wait a second... is that the "conversation" that Mitch Cleary had with Clarry this morning? That Mitch referenced on Insta? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sounds like it. Surprise surprise a journalist infers some secret chat when it was actually him ambushing Clarry at the airport

I can't see us settling for a 2nd rounder if we are paying $700k a year x 5 years but we'll see!

Agree.. itโ€™s either a team takes on most of his contract and no draft picks or we compensate his contract but get picks/playersโ€ฆ

Surely Giants would part with pick 12 if weโ€™re paying a significant amount of salary?

Weak draft and they could be getting the last piece of a premiership puzzle on the cheap

I reckon that's around the mark when you consider it gets closer to pick 20 post bids and all dat

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven Mayย

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
