The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.

Be interesting to see where he ends up in 3-4 years. Is he going to become a midfielder, or is he more likely a forward with glimpses on the ball - like we use Koz now? Looking forward to seeing who he trains with over the preseason as a possible indicator.

I have very high hopes for Koltyn Tholstrup he still has a way to go and is more a fwd/mid but I expect that he will roll into the midfield more as he builds his body and engine.

I like his strength, determination and aggression.  Take a deep breath, follow a set shot routine and I think he can be a dangerous attacking force for us

Change of  hair ‘stylist’ 💈 will help.

Drop the Ward and Paine’s

In this first season whenever he came on to the ground he seemed to bring a huge amount of energy - once he builds a tank he could be an absolute ripper.

Impressed after tough debut

Showed special glimpses in individual moments

one that stood out was a rebound 50 where he stayed in the play and got multiple touches running through the middle. This surprised me, given his size.

A few instances of him going in extremely hard,

The two goals in a row at the G.

Given his natural size/power, he could be anything - looks better than Trac did early days.

Mentality and physicality is 10/10 - you can tell how much he wants to be a good footballer
