MFC need to get a very large suitcase and ensure its fully loaded with cash for Andrew Brayshaw.  It’s coming with a 6- year contract offer.  Freo will need to match the $$ and term to keep him.  Dees need to land a free agent to get back into the game.

Another mid who can’t kick sweet

better to look at unrestricted vs restricted i think

footywire has a list, but i'm unsure of the accuracy of it

of those who are unrestricted, the list coming up who likely are not in the last years of their careers are few and far between...

  • jacob weitering
  • brayden maynard
  • brayden fiorini
  • toby pink
  • marcus bontempelli

the first and the last listed are unlikely to leave their teams where they are key players and leaders of the club

this place would blow up worse than the trac and oliver trade threads combined if we recruited maynard, i'd imagine

It may well blow up anyway even your mentioning that name.

Brayshaw isn't the player we should be chasing. I'd be looking at Fullbacks, Ruckmen and elite disposers of the ball with some pace.

Why wait for free agency?

If we identify a need we chase the player. Every other club seems to be happy targeting in contract players.

I’d be chasing TDK with a massive offer 7 years $10million

If he was going to leave Carlton and is being offered 15m from the Saints why would he come to us?

Because who would seriously want to go to the Saints

I’d play for the Saints if they were offering an extra $5m

$10 million covers you for life with standard money management, take a few risks with a portion and cover your great grandkids life as well. Play for the Dee’s on the G, priceless 😂

Blues have offered TDK about a mill a year. Let’s get the cheque book out. He’s exactly the player we need and to get him from the Blues would be golden.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
