I think there is a long way back, but listening to Roffey on SEN earlier, does anyone have confidence it stops if she does remain in charge

Yeah I think she needs to go. I don't know what she could have said, but it was a trainwreck of an interview and this has all happened on her watch.

Fine didn't disclose them and nor should he, but after coming back from a break he backed right away from the "ANB wants out" statement and actually apologised to ANB, his family and MFC supporters for the suggestion, acknowledging that he got it wrong.

Pickett for Harley Reid straight swap.

I wonder how often we’ve kept tabs on Harley over the year and whether he’d be keen to push for a move. I reckon unlikely at this stage.

However, what if start doing the groundwork now with Harley? Ask Koz to come back and give everything with the knowledge that we will look accommodate in good faith if a good deal can present (and work to set that deal up over the course of the year). Neither club will want to lose either player, but each player would fit the other club very nicely.

Doesn’t happen without putting the time into Harley. JT loved him, so wouldn’t be surprised if he kept some sort of contact, but not sure what the impact of this Petracca situation would be on his thoughts (given he and Tracc share a management stable and obviously have each other’s number).

True, but surely we need to address the elephant in the room? There is clearly something in these cultural concerns. We'd all think it if this was happening to another club.

It is happening to another club, Richmond is haemorrhaging players on an hourly basis. They won 2 games! Where the 24/7 watch on tiger land?

they held the team together for three flags in four years with the first being seven seasons ago and have definitely changed, a lot, both on- an just as importantly off-field since

Many people have forgotten about the Bulldogs in 2014. The club was going psycho, sacked the coach, senior officials left and an exodus of senior players. Won the flag two years later.

If we had won the flag in ‘22 or ‘23 no one would be caring all that much. The problem is everyone thought this group would win multiple flags.

My point is people seem to think we’re in some unprecedented dive towards folding the club. We’re not even losing as many players as the Tigers are (after Dimma bailed on everyone for a better deal) and we’re starting from a stronger position.

It’s obviously not ideal but the only confirmed out is ANB, and Trac seemingly if a deal can be done. The club will be fully operational in 2025.

This is why I rate Bevo so highly. He did an amazing job pulling that club back together. He also doesn’t take [censored] from the media, his take down of Tom Morris is honestly something Goody should take a leaf out of.

This is it. I’m as flat as anyone that we haven’t got there for a second flag on the G but the drama on here is overblown. They’re hard to win.

Kozzy & Jackson reunion?

Yikes… can’t just be another bout of homesickness if he has a particular club in mind

Presuming the report is true of course…

Should we start having separate drafts?

One for WA, one for SA, one for VIC?

Alternatively we could go back to the VFL era and each state has its own league. 🤔🤔🤔

They have three first rounders this year and their own future first - more than enough capital to get both of them

Where's Baker going? Can't see freo getting all of Bolton, Kozzie and Baker.

Due to FS and academy selections Fremantle effectively have pick 10, 11 and 20+. 10 or 11 goes to Bolton. Pick 10 + a 2nd rounder is definitely not worth it. One of the most exciting players in our history, just turned 23 and we get pick 10 and MAYBE something else? You have to be kidding me.

He hasn’t nominated a club, but it’s been noted he grew up supporting West Coast

They can get two of the three purely from a picks perspective

Can't wait for the mega trade permutations.

I'll start...

Melbourne lose: Kozzie

Melbourne gain: Pick 3

Freo lose pick: 9, 10 Port 1st, future 1st

Freo gain: Bolton, Kozzie

West Coast lose: Pick 3

West Coast gain: Baker, Port 1st

Richmond lose: Bolton, Baker

Richmond Gain: 9, 10, freo f1st
