Thought the same when I saw him. Disturbing.

I want to know how we plan to hold these so-and so’s accountable.  If they are right - fair play to them.,  If they are wrong (especially Tom Moron), how should we hold him accountable for pedalling such tripe??

My god - if anyone saw the Channel 7 coverage tonight - Tracc looked so unwell. No wonder he will not face the media. Just leave the guy alone!

They're never wrong though. If he goes then they're right and if he stays it's "he wanted to go but knew Melbourne wouldn't let him"

So let me see. Petracca has trained 3 times that I know of when he had no compulsion to do so, attended BBB's farewell and posted an emotional farewell to him. What more evidence do naysayers need that he is going nowhere? Said it before and I'll say it again. Petracca, Oliver and Viney are going nowhere.  FACT! I'm very happy to accept any wagers to the contrary.

Gave up watching Footy Classified a long time ago. A clip just popped up on FB and I know why. This show should listed as a Fantasy series. Somehow, someone has told Caroline Wilson that Petracca talking to the players this morning was the first time they knew he was in Noosa. Really? She knows this for a fact? 'A source' told her. What a turn up for the books! It's just embarrassing, gutter "journalism'. Inventing a problem that doesn't exist. Then Hutchy, Lloyd and Cornes join in the pile on with no evidence of anything. A very creative quartet is the best I can say.. Just utter drivel. Cornes has also jumped off us completely condemning us to immediate slide. Let's wait and see pal.

So not a single Melbourne player has turned on their phones and checked social media in 8 weeks?

Sorry, no idea what you're talking about.

I was saying that the implication that players didn’t know Trac was in Noosa until today is laughable.

My dad who checks Instagram once a month when he accidentally clicks on the icon on his phone, knew that Trac was in Noosa.

These journalists never should have dropped out of clown school.

My apologies.  Im a bit slow. Should have picked that up. Yes, of course they knew he was in Noosa. Have no idea what goes through Caroline Wilson's head but I suspect not much. Looking at Petracca today it's obvious he has been through a massive trauma. ' IF' he has made any decisions/actions that have been dubious this could well have been as a result of being in a very low place. I still doubt it. Those that that are beying for him to comment need to just chill for awhile.

Why do you think getting rid of Goodwin will fix anything? Messaging has been pretty consistent that the players love him and Petracca's issues lie elsewhere.

Because, BAM BAM, Goodwin!

Roffey Pert and Goody need to call a presser with Max Jack Trac and Clarry.

PRG: We just want to settle a few issues for our members and supporters. Max and Jack are our current leaders with solid contracts, and have played their hearts out this season. Trac and Clarry are contracted for 8 years and are seen as the next leaders of this club, they have had magnificent seasons despite significant injuries.  All of them are frustrated that we have lost 4 games by less than a kick.  Despite being very competitive we are not in the finals. we know we can improve and are determined to do that. We have  a great list of players who will all improve working with these blokes who are recognised within the club and indeed in the league.

Only a strong club can release Hogan, Jackson Grundy who were great players and are great opponents. The club considered their  personal circumstances were significant and  treated them with respect during their time with us and in letting them go. We have made a similar decision with Nibbler, we will always respect and regard these players as wonderful Melbourne football club representatives and wish them all the best. But make no mistake  these blokes here are the heart and soul of this club. WE will progress with them. They will work with us and with the whole team to continue to work for the highest standards and to be the best. We owe our members and supporters nothing less.

Yeah we are dissatisfied with the seasons results but we are also strong and will look at how we can improve next season. We will look at all aspects of our operations to provide the best environment for all of our club, players support staff, members and supporters. We want to all enjoy the best of our game and will do so together. We know that football can throw some, sometimes many, challenges but we intend to participate for more years than we have already existed. We will  continue to work together and enjoy each others company, accomplishments and disappointments. We can handle all these circumstances together and want to be transparent in our actions. We can assure you that success is our driver and will always be our aim and our measure. We dont like losing and that is why we will always be looking to win with grace but lose with courage. Our efforts will be increased when we are not achieving what is needed and we will always want to bring as many people with us on this journey.

You blokes want to say anything? M J T C say whatever they want in their own words to confirm the above.

Any journalists questions are responded to consistent with the above and reference to all previous statements and actions of the club.

If the RPG cant do this they need to sort it out and say what they need to to end this distraction

If he is having recovery time from a serious injury, who cares where he goes. Ain't this covid [censored] anymore.

Of course they are going nowhere — really disappointed any of it got out but I think Trad will learn and grow from this it’s clearly been traumatic for him but club will hold him to contract knowing no trade is even possible given bounty req and the $1.2m PY contract & so it’s about getting around him, hearing him out and nurturing him through to R1 25’ whereby he’ll likely be firing and raring to go and completely of seen these feelings of restlessness abated.

As for Morris, well he defends himself as merely reporting the story and saying he was u likely to go anywhere etc etc and whilst i vehemently disagree re this being a story clearly I’m wrong cus look at the traction it got — dominating the landscape.

[censored] McClure actually said it best this weekend when he said “When a team underperforms with a great list and fails, we (media) look for the cracks & apply pressure that’s what we do”…

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
