Just now, KC from Casey said:

Of course, Kynan Brown only had a few minutes tonight but will they fly him down to play for Casey?

Naaaah?

He'd be on the same flight as Bill and jeffo but didn't play him last week for some reason. Surely needs a full game for match fitness.

Kynan Brown playing

Typical bleak Melbourne winter’s afternoon. Not missing it sitting here in shorts.

Casey goal!

JEFFO goal!!

11 to go!!!!!!!

Jefferson kicks his first.

Matthew Jefferson’s positioning was exemplary for a forward. In front for the ball drop chest mark.

McAdam beauty!

Goal Shane. Casey now lead 3 goals 1 behind to Preston 3 goals

Lol free to us for blatant holding but it ends up going the other way ...for??

The umpiring standard in this game is ridiculously bad. No mark given when it was a clear mark and then a holding free given the wrong way. The commentators were shocked at how bad that was.

Preston 4 goals straight qt time lead.

Lowrey 😂

Bill starting up a new vacuum cleaner shop (Lowrey's) to replace the old Godfrey's

Umpire #1 the worst I’ve seen at this level. Already 3 shockers… either incompetence or playing for the oppo!

Unless he's visually impaired it has to be the latter.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
