Time to Deeliver 4 Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Any fellow NSW demons going to next weeks game? Dees supporter bay is full and I’d prefer to sit with my fellow demons. Quote
whatwhat say what 23,865 Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 sally from nsw demons is pulling together a fantastic event prior to the game, headlined by kozi's dad! NSW Demons Pre match – Sunday 27 August at 12noon Guest Speakers * Raffles & Auctions * Food * Drinks at bar prices Get your tickets here. Have a nibble, a drink and a laugh before the game, support the club, support the NSW Demons, then take the short stroll to cheer the boys into the finals. When: Sunday 27 August, 12–2:30pm Where: Urban Winery, Entertainment Quarter (on-site parking, 5 min walk to the SCG) $$: $60 Adult, Children 5-12 years $20. How: Bookings here Let Kevin entertain you - NSW Demons Swans v Dees pre-game If you haven’t already, seize the opportunity to mingle among the faithful in a “theatregoer free” zone – a rarity at the SCG – and be entertained by Australia’s pre-eminent Aboriginal comedian Kevin Kropinyeri. Kevin is a friend of the NSW Demons and has a very close – some would say genetic – link to the Club. Being Kozzy’s dad would do that. “Kevin is one of Australia’s most established and popular Aboriginal comedians with a long list of Australian TV credits. A proud Aboriginal man from the Ngarrindjeri Nation of the lower River Murray, Lakes and Coorong region in South Australia, Kevin is a high-energy performer - sharp, likeable, silly and measured; mixing keen observational standup with joyfully ridiculous physical comedy. His engaging brand of comedy warmly invites both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal audiences to share his journey, his culture, his life.” As well as Kevin you get: A wide selection of “grazing options” in keeping with the club’s status as the league leaders in charcuterie. Drinks at bar prices. Club memorabilia auction Raffle and club speakers to be confirmed. Support the Club, support the NSW Demons, then take the short stroll to cheer Kevin's boy, and our boys, into the finals. Places are limited so please get in now. 2 Quote

#11-TonyAnderson 868 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 My company’s insurance broker got me a ticket - free food and grog. Driving down from Tamworth (6 hours) - hope the boys win!😊 2 1 Quote
Little Goffy 14,970 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 I've lost patience with the Swans. A club kept relevant solely by obscene draft concessions and wild free agency exploitation of what was always a rubbery cost-of-living-allowance, and now only playing finals because of an absolute howler of a goal umpiring decision. It's not quite that I hate them... the feeling is like having the smell of badly burnt raisin toast lingering in your house for days. But really... Heeney, Mills, Blakey, Campbell and Gulden... it would be hard to find a game this season where those five didn't earn at least half the Swan's coaches votes. I want to see us going into finals with heads up and eyes on the prize, and I want Sydney going in with a reminder that they shouldn't be there. 3 Quote

Stay in town and celebrate hard after a big day on the supplier’s ticket and a big Dees win! 1 Quote

Driving two hours with a Swans mate to the Scg. It's a quiet ride home. 1 Quote

But I’m not relying too much on that forecast as they rarely get it right. Quote

Was going to ask about it, so thanks for sharing first! Probably means I'll have to sit this one out; would be too miserable sitting alone! A shame, there was even a possibility of rounding up a bunch of Vietnamese in-laws. If they could bring their video-call-to-grandad voice it would make the crowd sound like a solid 60,000. Quote
