Earlier this year, the Demons smashed the lacklustre Kangaroos who were struggling after a bright start under Al Clarkson’s coaching. They had five goals on the board before you could blink and injuries to some of the North players didn’t help their cause. A few late goals prevented them from suffering a 100 point plus humiliation.

How convenient it is for Al Clarkson to return to the coaching fold this week against his old club Melbourne.

Will this provide the Demons with the danger game that greets opposition clubs when there’s a change of coaches? 😀

The Kangas have improved under Ratten even if they didn’t win games. They should have kept him in as coach for the remainder of the season and re-set next year under Clarko.

Despite their improved form and the fact that they lost 3 or 4 close ones, the AFL is going to gift them plenty of draft concessions at the end of the year.

A danger game this is not.

North were beyond putrid in the first half against us. Really pathetic. We would have won by 130+ points if we hadn’t taken our foot off the gas.

They just lost to the WAFL Eagles .

End of arguement

No they're not. They're on a 17-game losing streak and just got beaten by the eagles.

Just hope it's not a windy game like we saw at Casey on the weekend.

Apart from the ugly spectacle it will likely help to keep them in the game for longer.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
