Oh [censored] me this game is soft

That tackle was in no way dangerous.  Tackled him at the hips / arms and was brought to ground.  What else was he supposed to do there?

May as well call time on any tackle if Buttler goes for that

Why don't you come up to The Manor and watch it with Uncle WCW ?

I could show you my etchings during the lunch break.

Risky business Uncle.

She'll have you on the crepe paper putting the banner together quick smart & the cricket off!

Uncle would never qualify for banner making for a raft of reasons but mainly because we have a dress code: no skirts or dresses, and a kaftan is considered a dress, right? Also, no shoes. If he was to take his crocs off, in all likelihood he wouldn’t be able to get them back on again because portly.

What the hec was that 50 or did i miss an incursion within the protected zone by player not on the mark? ...

Ump runs in and says "back here!" in a raised voice but not that loud.

Usually they would say "back 1 metre" etc.

But nup.

Then as Swan player turns his head the first time he said "back here" wondering if he was talking to him the ump pins him for 50 in an instant.

Far out the tackle is dead

Hmm. Maybe make AFL non-tackling? Gaelic football maybe? (And no bumping obv) Seriously though, what’s the future for the physical nature of AFL? Days might be numbered.

Another dangerous tackle that was far from it.... my gosh.

Need to nuke the entire umpiring fraternity / program and whoever's in charge of it and start again.

Their interpretation and over officiating has destroyed our great game

This season in particular is like a drunk's vomit that's been left to bubble & squeak overnight before a stray dog comes along the next morning and gets lucky!

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
