I have enjoyed listening to SEN and all that is football but suddenly over the last few months this CAT has started to annoy me and made me start listening to other stations.

His comments about relocating the Demons to the Gold Coast, that we are a disgrace, etc got me going this morning...

Most Demons supporters will buy a membership unlike this frontus bummus, who a few years back would not buy a membership to sticks fc due to someone being involved with the club... then he has a crack at our members???

he has no credibility.. he tries to use big words to show that he is an intellectual but all he is doing is showing a four eyed pharkwit he is!

mark allen should have got this gig over 'radar' - who calls themselves by their nickname???

I agree Radar is a tool. I have stopped listening to SEN in the mornings purely because of him. I'd see him as an 'hysteric' - desparate for some sensationalism, flapping about in a apanic, but really very very shallow. Labaelling us as a 'disgrace' is funny, perhaps he's forgotten Carlton's record losses over the past three years under pagan? He can say nothing without using a 'hyped' tone and then says nothing with it. An empty vessel.

Its unuldalterated garbage, that all. If North were 0-6 he would be saying the same thing about them. Just becasue we had 16k attendance at the game is probably why he raised it (by the way Richmond only have 1500 more members than we do and are also 0-6) No one should get upset about this. He is being antagonistic for the sake of it. He obviously doesn't personally like the Melbourne Football Club at all but who gives a s***.

RD - you must be one of the 4 people that listen to that morning crap?

Apart from the fact that we already have around 27,000 payed up members. Sure, the 16,000 that turned up on the week end was a poor effort, but suggesting we relocate when we almost, if not already have record membership is a joke.

Agreed. I say it to myself every morning, the show would be so much more enjoyable if it were just Tim and Billy!

You hit the nail on the head. A club with record membership is not a candidate for relocation, as the membership would have to start from nothing.

That is of course leaving out other little factors like for example, we were the first football club in the world and a founder of the league, we are one of the most successful, our name is Melbourne and the G is our home ground, we have played in 6 finals series in the last few years etc.

I'm not kidding, I'm a fairly passive bloke but if I saw that bloke in public I walk up to him and abuse him. I'm serious. What a muppet. Has the most ridiculous occa accent and no has no idea about our club. Andrew, you barrack for Carlton, the cheating scum wooden spooners with more problems than Richmond.

How funny was it a few years ago (year Sydney won the flag) when 10 sent Maher to Ireland to meet Tadgh Kennelly's freinds or whatever. Imagine being sent to the other side of the earth GF week? Shows about how much respect they have for the man. He is a joke!

Agree! He should go back to being a producer like he was at Channel 7.

He's too damn serious (in other words BORING) for that show. He belongs on the ABC. The bloke should crack open a bottle of red and have a few glasses before the show to loosen up. Hardly ever laughs and always saying "oh that was a bit out of line Hughesy". Pleeeeease.

I actually didn't mind Huddo. He does know his footy.

Maher is bad, Michael Christian is worst. He's got to be the worst commentator going around. Hate listening to him and his bias to Collingwood. Watched a Pies/Port game and the crap he dished out was unbelievable.

So has anyone actually accurately reported what Maher said? Was he serious? Was it in jest? Was it just another team's supporter having a bit of a poke? I suspect either we're taking it a little too seriously, or the truth might hurt about our current level of crowd support.

OK, I declare my bias. I've played golf with Andrew Maher and had the pleasure of his company for four hour rounds on a couple of occasions. Off the TV and radio you could not meet a nicer fellow. Very happy to talk football with anyone, and certainly not pompous or arrogant like a lot of ex-footballers. Quite happy to mix it with us mere mortals and the conversation is certainly not one-way.

he was dead serious...brought it up the week before too called us a disgrace becuase we only had 16K at the freo game.

i'm glad i am not the only one to take offence at this [censored].....like someone mentioned when his team needed him he refused to buy a membership and now he has the gall to bag us...a bit rich i think...

the guy is boring as..and is definately there to sensationalise everything...and the way he is going..i reckon billy is going to clock him one soon...

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres
