The hosting company of Demonland is experiencing issues with some servers at their data centre and as a result you will experience some slow response times when navigating Demonland.

Hopefully these issues are resolved shortly.

We are currently experiencing power issues in one of our data centres that are impacting our server's performance and stability.

We have a Seniors Infrastructure Technician en route to the data centre to start troubleshooting the issue.

We will provide more information to you as it comes.

A second thread on "loading" issues!

Jokes aside, thanks for keeping us updated!

Guess the hosting company is loading right now, March is the best time of the year to do this apparently so they will be fresh come Xmas time.

BUT ITS IN THE CLOUD AND THAT MEANS IT IS CONSTANTLY UP AND RUNNING PERFECTLY AND FOR FREE.

Sorry, triggered.

Our Senior Infrastructure technician has re-routed power to bring any server that was offline back to an online state.

Server performance will still be degraded at this time whilst the data centre technicians continue their work to bring back their services.

We will continue to provide updates to you as they come.

I like the way the company has referred to the tech person as the "Senior" Infrastructure technician to lend gravitas to how seriously they're taking this problem.

It has to be pretty serious because the issue is still ongoing and there has been no update for over an hour and a half.

I noticed that first as well. Company talk to make the customer feel valued.

We are still waiting for the data centre technicians to resolve the issue they are facing with the data centre our hosting servers are located.

We are waiting for their updates and as they come we will pass on new information here.

Despite this it seems like Demonland has almost returned to normal. Relatively speaking.

Even though Demonland seems to be running normally here is the latest update for anybody that is interested in what is happening in some data centre somewhere on this planet.

We have received an update from the Data Centre who have advised that they have identified a possible cause and are still investigating.

We will update this status once more one we have an update.

Thank you for your extended patience.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
