when you dominate a quarter and a half and only kick 4.10 it's going to come back and bite you.

ย

Mcpherson a nice specky in the pack and kicks truly.ย  Three in a row for the Doggys now.

Hibb with 20 disposals putting his hand up for the job on Paps this week

Hibberd with 13 possessions in the 2nd quarter. Making a statement.

I love Hibbo. He only knows one way. Straight through.

Leading Disposals to half time...

Hibb20, Jordan 17 (1 goal), Laurie 13, Dunstan 12 (1 goal), Turner 11

For who though Chook?

Dunstan is more likely for Harmes.ย  Getting a fair bit of it so far.ย  Needs to clean up the disposal somewhat

Melksham. Canโ€™t see why Jordon couldnโ€™t replace Harmes either. Also Hibberd for McVee - going well at Casey. Schache for Max.ย

Great to see several players putting their hands up and keeping pressure on the seniors.ย

Jordon has been quality and ย should replace Harmes.

Hibberd had got a lot of ball sweeping but I am not convinced anymore on him defensively. McVee would be very stiff to not play round 3 being Cameron took one mark and kicked 2 goals on a night when our backs were massively under the pump. ย

Schache has not hurt his chances but interesting that JVR seems to have been preferred to relieve in the ruck behind Bell. Whether to play Schache, JVR or both is still up for grabs based on their second half output.ย

Jordon completely dominating in the midfield. Direct replacement for Harmes thanks.

Hibbo still got it. You'd think he'd come in for McVee who I actually thought battled well. Another senior head down back won't hurt.

Schache the dominant forward so far. Has already taken 5 marks in the first half and unlucky not to have a couple of goals on board.

Special mention to Bailey Laurie. Looks complete different player to what he was last year. Class, poise and distributing well.

Rough end of the half losing some centre clearances and getting beat by some good efforts by the Dogs forwards.

JJโ€™s been impressive with his ability to cover the ground and contested work in important contests. Whether heโ€™s truly an inside mid just yet is another question but heโ€™s certainly pushing for a spot and they can move wingers and find room for him. Heโ€™s kept it simple.

Dunstanโ€™s been Dunstan.

Hibboโ€™s had some good moments, heโ€™s certainly still a star at this level.

Howes flashes brilliance just needs to get more playing at half back. K Turner has more work to do on his kicking than I thought previously but heโ€™s very willingย

Scacheโ€™s been the best of the key forwards taking marks and drawing free kicks. JVRโ€™s best has been enticing but heโ€™s made a few unusual errors with his kicking. Has been involved though which is good.

Iโ€™ve really liked the game of Max Gregory aka Fake Bowey.ย

Sounds like the commentary is coming from a bathroom.ย

Dunstan, Schache & Bell doing well so far early in the third

Great goal from the left pocket from Hannen grrr

Anyone know where Verrell and the other young ruck is? ย And is a disco out there?

Hannan having a pretty mad third term.ย  Him & Mcpherson bringing the Dogs back into it.

Holding call against the Doggys in the Square sees JVR get his first to get one back

Moniz a snap for his first kick (jkgs) and goal

ย

great goalย

Sestan crazy snap out of the ball up about 30 out

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
