I’m over yesterday it’s a loss we can’t win em all. We will be back.

all this talk of Angus leaving, why don’t we try and get Andrew to come to Melbourne? Mark is well embedded at Levin Health and They won’t be leaving Melbourne at all.

I've always wondered this as well.

But he seems heavily invested at Freo and looks like he'll be their next captain in waiting.

No way would Andrew leave Freo given where that side is heading.

Tim Gossage, 2 weeks ago, mentioned on SEN that he knows the Brayshaw’s well and Angus would be open to move to WA in order to be close to his grandparents. Also, his girlfriend is dead against a move to Perth.

I ask these questions with curiosity...

What's with the notion that brothers always want to play together? Maybe Andrew is super happy forging his own identity and path.

Do the Saints and Sun board constantly talk about the King brothers?

What about the Ah Chee's? Or the Reids?

There was a little vibe going on here for Nathan Jones' brother for a while.

I feel its just us supporters being quite romantic. Mind you Andrew would add plenty of value.

Jackson for Brayshaw anyone? 😇

Andrew would be moving to the reining premiers so it’s not as if he’s losing anything from a success point of view.

being 30 myself I know I’d rather be with my immediate parents than my grandparents.

think the sticking point will be Danielle. If she won’t move over there I doubt he will make the move!

fingers crossed

I’m only saying this for the brotherly pull and that Andrew’s parents live here. And he’s a bloody good footy player!!

Be very interested in hearing Angus's opinions on the way that loss came about.

The "wants to play with their brother" argument is the same as the "wants to play for the club they supported as a kid" argument.

I.e. a discussion point that refuses to die among media and supporters, despite fact that it almost never happens.

Scott Selwood and Brad Hill are the only examples I can think of in living memory. Considering how many players with brothers at other clubs get shopped around every trade period,  that's got to be less than the law of averages.

His whole family lives in Melbourne apart from his grandparents. Worth a crack in my opinion

Probably the best young player in the game

no way to fit him in our cap with Jackson this year and Clarry next year etc

zero chance unless we let a gun go

Brayshaw leaving Freo would be like us letting Oliver go 3 years ago.

And the only way we get him through trade and afford him in the cap is after Jackson leaves…

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
