Only six players on the injury list plus Daniel Hayes AWOL and no word on Daniel Hughes who hasn't been seen playing at Sandringham in recent weeks.

Lynden Dunn (cheek) - 2 weeks

James Frawley (stress fracture) - 4 weeks

Brock McLean (foot) - 6 weeks

Byron Pickett (hamstring) - test

Jared Rivers (hamstring) - test

Isaac Weetra (hamstring) - 2 weeks

I've cleared up the mystery concerning Nick Smith. Our old 4 to 6 is now playing at Box Hill and I'm sure we'll get a chance to see him one day (if he doesn't get injured that is!)

really thats not too bad.

although 4 of the top 5 are in our best 22 and james frawley looked the good preseason. i expect that pickett and rivers will come back this week. honestly i cant see why newton cant get a go while dunn is out which means dunn probably wouldnt slot back into our 22 any way...

brock is the main one, as long as we keep everyone else on the park til he gets back we can cope...for now.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership.
