Who's bragging? Look at the ladder, are we in the top 4? You made the statement. You didn't say a final 4 side, but there is no disputing we are currently top 4

Why would you waste your time typing that?

I get pleasure pointing out mistakes.  You make it easy.

I can imagine some on here saying we haven't beaten anyone above us on the ladder when we are at the top of the ladder all year.

Don't let fact get in the way of hope, the current team has done what it had to do win.

The fact is the team contains 5 players who have played less than 20 games and 1 who has played 37 games along with 6 players who have played less than 100 games so more than half the team has less than 100 games, the fact that they have won 3 games that in the past they may have lost has in my opinion due to the Williams and Yze affect.

On Sunday we will find out the whether they are a good honest side or one that has become an exceptional side that can only get better and better with more experience and training, along with pressure of the new key forwards and experienced players who are out of the side wanting to part of a great side.

Yes and then adding that we haven't even beaten any of the AFLW teams either

The standout highlight out of the round in my view was West Coast's first half against Port

They made Port look 2nd rate and their own skills on display were first rate ... they are going to be hard to beat

That's what we have to match & better

Port made the fatal mistake of going in tall against West Coast particular inside forward 50m

It has always been something to avoid against them but even more so now when they have good users by foot across the board.

You very much need to play only 2 talls a medium and 3 smalls to lock the ball in and apply ground ball pressure against their defence.

The above coupled with the lack of man on man at centre clearances set Port up for failure the other night

If it guarantees us staying there, I’ll volunteer to do it

Everyone with half a brain would understand that it means at the pointy end of the season.

Bringing up something like that simply exposes you as a smartass with your hand on yourself.

Grow up pal.

Touchy. I simply pointed out the error in your statement. If you can't handle being corrected I think I know who needs to grow up.

Wow, you certainly have some anger management issues. Probably best that you put me on ignore. By contrast I have no one on ignore, I value others opinions even when they disagree or are simply wrong. Sometimes I am wrong but I wear it and move on. This post is probably pointless because if you are a man of your word you won't read it.

  • PREVIEW: North Melbourne

Can you believe it? After a long period of years over which Melbourne has dominated in matches against North Melbourne, the Demons are looking down the barrel at two defeats at the hands of the Kangaroos in the same season. And if that eventuates, it will come hot on the heels of an identical result against the Gold Coast Suns. How have the might fallen? There is a slight difference in that North Melbourne are not yet in the same place as Gold Coast. Like Melbourne, they are currently situated in the lower half of the ladder and though they did achieve a significant upset when the teams met earlier in the season, their subsequent form has been equally unimpressive and inconsistent.

  • REPORT: Adelaide

The atmosphere at the Melbourne Football Club at the beginning of the season was aspirational following an injury-plagued year in 2024. Coach Simon Goodwin had lofty expectations with the return of key players, the anticipated improvement from a maturing group with a few years of experience under their belts, and some exceptional young talent also joining the ranks. All of that went by the wayside as the team failed to click into action early on. It rallied briefly with a new strategy but has fallen again with five more  consecutive defeats.
