So you labelled me a leftie years ago and I'm now labelling you an alt-right 'type' 4 years late

See that's the way you alt-right types work ... it's all confrontational but you screech like banshees when it comes back at you.  Bit soft

Do you even understand what hypocrisy is?

I understand hypocrisy. If you held a mirror up you would get a better understanding.

I did have to google exactly what the alt right is since you keep trying to link me with it. Nothing could be further from the truth and what's more, it seems to me people of the alt right would be boasting and advertising about belonging to it.

The alt right might be something you imagine people are, but try and hide it like your warped views on racism. The fact is people are proud of their views and want to share them. But you can keep imagining what they really think.

The alt right doesn't even exist.

It was a boogeyman created in 2016 so Hillary could try and rile up her brain dead base, and a lot of people on the left still think it exists.

They also believe there's a Nazi around every corner too.  They're mental.

Nice to see that, as usual, you're across it all P2J.  So I guess that must have been a different alt-right that was first launched in 2010 (during Obama's presidency), accredited to Richard B Spencer, the white nationalist.  You see, they even gave themselves that label as a badge of honour, and as the years have passed, more and more groups have been encompassed within the movement.

As for the nazis around every corner, that's no different than Trump supporters labeling the democrats as pedophiles, communists and socialists.

Given Bernie Sanders is a self described democratic socialist and was one of the front runners for the Democratic nominees, I don't think it is too far fetched to associate Democrats with socialism.

@hardtack can you please let Macca know that the alt right label themselves with a badge of honour. I don't fit that category at all but his imagination is playing tricks on him.

And given that his leanings were probably part of the reason he failed to win the nomination as the party's candidate, I think it's not too far fetched to believe that the majority of Democrats are not socialists or communists.  Six of one and half a dozen of the other.

I'm not involving myself in that particular discussion ?

Your views on racism

That racism is often disguised?

It is, especially on the internet.  Footballers are often vilified by anonymous figures online and we've had numerous threads about the subject matter on the footy boards here.  And it will happen again and I will be making comment ... hopefully you do the same

My views on racism are very real and reflect the truth

Extreme racists put hoods over their heads to disguise their identity

What did you think about the online vilification of Harley Bennell in July?  The perpetrators were online & anonymous

I despise racism, I am on record here defending HB and my username is Wrecker45, a tribute to a great indigenous footballer.

The difference between us is I don't go looking for racism like you seem to but if it pokes it's ugly head I will call it out every time.

Good

As for the rest of it,  let's agree to disagree

I will always agree to disagree. Unfortunately, not all people are capable of that. De-platforming is a thing now. I respect you for writing that Macca. Go Dees 2021!

It's finally been confirmed that Trump will leave the White House with Grace and Dignity.

Just as soon as Grace finds her shoes, Dignity gets dressed and they both get paid.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!   I knew that gag would get a bite from you, P2J.

What I can't quite decide is if you are the immature, gullible schoolboy who has fallen for the cult of Trump and won't recognise reality as reflected in your preposterous comments or whether you are just a troll playing the long game.

I am just a guy who hates war.

I have been waiting all my life for an anti war, non interventionist US president and he came along in all his orange glory.

Cant wait for his 2nd term.

FMD. The warmonger who bombed Syria on a false claim that the Syrians used Chemical weapons, who chose to keep his invasion troops near the oil fields so they could  steal what this [censored] called 'our oil' the same Pres who still has troops in Afghanistan,  the same Pres who continued to supply endless weapons of mass destruction to Saudi Arabia while it raped Yemen. We won't mention this Kushner-led imbecile condoning Israel  making Jerusalem its capital.

Yep, unfortunately, Biden and Co will probably be even worse on that front. Witness Obama's rape of Libya and attempted rape of Syria.

Are you a war denier? Trump hasn't started any wars which is unusual for a US president. Trump has signed peace treaties in the middle east that no-body thought possible  making Jerusalem capital of Israel where it belongs was a smart move.

There are people who see just what they want to see, hear only what they want to hear.

Trump isn't a warmonger or anything resembling one.

This is true.

I see zombie Biden just fractured his foot playing with his dog......  lol.  Would love to know the real story.

Imagine thinking this guy got 80 million legitimate votes.

Imagine one voter with half a brain cell voting for a lying, narcissistic psychopath like Trump.

  • PREVIEW: Sydney

The two teams competing at the MCG on Sunday afternoon have each traversed a long and arduous path since their previous encounter on a sweltering March evening in Sydney a season and a half ago. Both experienced periods of success at various times last year. The Demons ran out of steam in midseason while the Swans went on to narrowly miss the ultimate prize in the sport. Now, they find themselves outside of finals contention as the season approaches the halfway mark. The winner this week will remain in contact with the leading pack, while the loser may well find itself on a precipice, staring into the abyss. The current season has presented numerous challenges for most clubs, particularly those positioned in the middle tier. The Essendon experience in suffering a significant 91-point loss to the Bulldogs, just one week after defeating the Swans, may not be typical, but it illustrates the unpredictability of outcomes under the league’s present set up.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.
