And another to the Blues. Casey have dominated possession and inside 50 count but find themselves 2 points down.

Wasn’t the merger plan that Casey follow Melbourne’s game plan to the letter? ?

So, all going to plan.

Late goal to Deluca of the Blues puts them 7 points ahead.

Casey have hit the post three times in the opening quarter.

Great reading @KC from Casey whilst at work, very helpful, not so great the pithy comment, make you feel better?

Wasteful early in the game and sloppy in the last half of the second term. Casey doing its best to drop this one.

Can’t underestimate the effect of the loss of Preuss on the team. Blues are winning well in the ruck.

Does anyone know if this game is streamed somewhere?  If not, I may venture out to Casey. At least I’ll get to see Jetta ad Lever and hope for next year.

My son just found the game live-streaming on the Carlton YouTube Channel.

Apart from point scoring, what were you hoping to achieve by this reply? It's worse than what's upset you.

Interesting...

I always thought 'Whispering_Jack' was Bruce Wayne to 'KC from Casey' Batman..

...is he trying to throw us off the track?

...are they different people?

KC is definitely our “Robin the Boy Wonder” here at Demonland. Cranbourne East is a bit on the cold side for me these days “rjay” - I’m visiting the Gold Coast at the moment and can see Metricon Stadium, where the AFL Tigers are having a feast at the moment, from my window.

My view is that it’s a lazy effort by Casey.  1st qtr great but 2nd qtr awful. Starting the 3rd better. Positive news - Lever doing very well. Jetta needs another game at VFL. Aside from Lever no one pushing for selection. 7 points down 9 mins into 3rd

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
