Bugg with his first straight disposal of the day. Rippa goal. And no charity required

No wonder Kennett hates our side so much. Twice we’ve done it to him this year

I'd love to know the stats. They have not paid at least 4 holding the balls to us and just paid that one against.

Something is seriously wrong. This is outrageous umpiring. Haven't been paid anything for 25 minutes

Is JKH wearing a short sleeve jumper over a long sleeve jumper??

Boo to the umpires. They have gifted Box Hill so many frees. Must be related to the umps from yesterday.

How bad are these umpires?! Free kick Hawthorn alive and well, even in the VFL!

Petty and Keilty so impressive.

Fritsch all class.

Hunt gave away three frees that quarter, ouch.

Machaya

I was sure it was 24 (possibly both of them)?

Either way, why not just wear a long sleeve?

I'm also surprised it's allowed; remember when yze wasn't allowed to wear a custom made 3 quarter length sleeve jumper?

15 - 3 free kicks

None for in that qtr

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
