You have to use an actual phone and not just a picture of one from the Aus Post junk mail catalogue.

So that is the problem  a tually thought my Nokia would get it done

Funny that you can say bastard but not [censored] (whip a horse)

Presumably the designers of the auto-censor assume that every reference to 'bastard' refers to the child of an unwed mother.

I am interested in a stat. The one about being in the 8 after Rd 23, are you in or are you out?

I'm also interested in the stat of statement games against quality opposition RE: Port, Geelong, Sydney etc. Did you win or did you lose? Its pretty black and white. Inside 50 counts, scoring shots, clearances are totally irrelevant in that scenario.

As I've said before, winning is the only thing that matters. The MFC is a professional sporting organisation with one goal, to win premierships. We have been a failure, by this standard of measure for such a long time, which explains why we take small statistical victories. It's all we have.

But like you @Redleg I am sick to death of stats. I want wins, I want to play finals and I want to see premierships. Nothing else matters.

Yes, that is a stat I care about.

Ok everyone - the baby boomers have spoken.

We are not to discuss anything other than whether we won or not.

Punishing bloody baby boomers!! I’ve been waiting for this discussion on DL, about time it has been brought out in the open.

I hope we dominate the frees for stat this weekend.

Cool Ethan. Did you get a gig as an umpire this weekend?

☺️

I reckon 43% of people would agree with Redleg.

... and 55% would disagree, 60% don't care, and another 33.79% will make up their mind in the next month or so.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
