so you are saying watts = 3rd rounder

Hi DC, yep I'm saying that's all I think we can get for him right now, a late second/early third.

Unsure of final details and bits n pieces thrown around, I'd imagine they get something from Crows? As I said, was just a rumour I saw on Twitter this morning, think it came from Nixon so grain of salt (as with every rumour).

It's rubbish.

I'm surprised people are so quick to even entertain a deal like that.  We aren't trading Watts to move up 4 spots in the draft.  Crazy stuff.

Yes, I know, it's just a rumour, take with a grain of salt etc, but these are getting worse every day.

I heard from my neighbours dog that we are trading Oliver and Pick 10 to Essendrug for their Pick 11.  Derdero fleecing us as he supposedly does with every club.

As for my post, 1st and 3rd (Watts) for Lever is fair IMO.

I heard you and Steve The Man are getting traded out to the Tigers forum and we are getting some clown named Stuie

I love Ablett to Geelong, as it means another year trying to milk success out of an aging list while not developing their next generation. The cliff when it comes (2019 be my guess) will be brutal. :)

As long as they don't pinch one in the meantime. A midfield of Dangerfield, Selwood, Ablett and Rockliff would be unstoppable. Doesn't matter who their bookends are at that point.

Rumour going around that its Watts + pick 10 to Collingwood for their pick 6 to on trade to Crows.

If that happens its a 1st and 3rd round pick for Lever, which is fair IMO. (as long as he's not on $900k per year).

I like Jack and think he's better served on our list, but this would be hilarious, just given the history with the scum. Their three-toothed army wouldn't know whether to cheer or boo.

They get something from the Crows as well? Watts is worth more than 4 spots in the top 10. They'd get good use out of him. Do they need to get something else from the Crows? Not sure about the validity of this trade, mate.

WB, the dog whisperer. I like it. I'll run with it. Pick 11 sounds okay.

It has as much validity as most of the rumours posted here, so you can't go far wrong.

For all his faults, Watts is worth more than steak knives. If he goes to the Pies we will get screwed.

The MFC [censored] themselves in a trade with the scum. What's new?

If I were Geelong it wouldn't matter. This would all be worth it if they pinch the flag in 2018.

If we get Moore and Lever in that deal, i would consider it......

Don't know if this is realistic, but I would be searching late in the draft for a Garlett type kid.

Pace and goal sense and who might develop in the right environment.

Not sure that Johnstone is that player from what I have seen, admittedly in my limited viewing of him. JKH is not really that type as well. Tigers have 2 in the reserves and most good sides have a couple.

Bugg is not that type. I mean the pacy opportunist type, think Betts, Cameron, Garlett, Cockatoo, Motlop, Cyril, McDonald-Tipungwuti.

Anyone disagree with my earlier posts.

9 goals from Cameron and Rioli in the two Prelims..

Mark Stevens on Channel 7 post game said that Gary Ablett will be traded to Geelong as soon as trade week opens, and the deal has already been agreed on.

Interesting hearing Scott claim that Cats fans were kidding themselves if they thought getting to a Prelim meant just needing to top up and get a little better next year. Then there's this strong talk of GAJ going back to the Cats at age 68 or whatever he is. Not exactly what I thought was meant when Scott said "go back to the start again", but I guess he meant go back to GAJ!

Heard that they are looking for another key forward, Hawkins needs some help.

Doug Wade is rumoured to be on the radar...could get him cheap.
