Demonland Podcast will return for the Draft

I have a question for Max and also some life advice to offer.

Thought it was great what he said about the smooth transition from Roos to Goodwin in the coaching dept. He said it was like there was no transition and it was like having the same coach for 4 years....

Best thing to come out of the Max interview is that he is ahead of schedule. He mentioned 9 weeks.  But I couldn't work out if he meant 9 weeks from now or

nine weeks from the time of the injury.

Think he meant 9w from the time of injury....ie its worst case scenario of 12 weeks, but hes hoping for 9.

The Demonland Podcast will be LIVE @ 8:30pm tonight IF I can find a cohost.

Grapeviney is away this week and is unable to do cohosting duties so I'm throwing it out there to the Demonland public. Inquire within. Must have a Skype connection a decent sounding headset/mic. If you have an apple or android device with skype installed and the earphones/mic that come with them then that should suffice.

I'm not sure the public is ready for it.

He practically ran the first show on his own, why not? :P

Well if they do it's in the fine print. I have Pilates at 630pm WST on Wednesdays but I'm thinking about skipping it tonight so I can listen live.

I'd stick with the pilates

I've got A Reiki session and an aura reading soon but I will try to make time for the podcast.

I feel like they need my snide input.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

Melbourne wrapped up the AFLW home and away season with a hard-fought 14-point win over Geelong at Kardinia Park. The result secured second place on the ladder with a 9–3 record and a home qualifying final against the Brisbane Lions next week.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
