Thankyou to all my fans. It was a good year. I got out to a flying start. Struggled a bit in the middle with the byes (even though I tried very hard to have a full team each week) and came home pretty well. Gotta say, there was a lot of luck that went my way this year.

Big thank you to Deevoted for putting it all together. Very appreciated.

Well done on a very good year, but that's about the end of your bragging rights as we are move into 2018.

Feel free to wear the 'bluey' and flash it around during the year, but be warned, nobody as yet, has been able to go back to back.

As for me, not sure it I will play, it took me until about  round 12 to fire up, I just couldn't get into it. The upside was I had a heap of trades left in the bag for the last rounds / minor finals. Been playing for a number of years, so we'll see how we go.

I'll still do the comp, and not yet ready to pass on the reigns just yet.If and when that time does come, I'll be sure pass on how I have been running our comp. to whoever wants to take over. The biggest nightmare is getting everyone to confirm at the start, and in time to arrange everyone in their correct leagues. Then gathering all the scores for the next year.Apart from that, it runs itself.

I will get this thread shut down, and open up a new thread for 2018.

If you haven't played before feel free to post your intentions along with a team name. You wont be thrown in against the more seasoned coaches. We have usually have 3 -4 Divisions, beginners and new coaches all start in the lower comp, (D3-4) and can work their way up thru the ranks. I might add this comp is open to anyone that hasn't played before, or those that dropped out and want to play again.

You just need a Demonland account (that is also free) so you can post your intentions and to receive and send PM's  for your league details.

I think is was the thread "Supercoach 2015" ? I posted a guideline for getting promoted and demoted and other details.Anyway its in one of the earlier Supercoach threads, some of the wording might be in need of an adjustment, but basically it remains as stated.

If after reading through that and you find yourself still confused someone will be able to step you through the process.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
