Fair bit of value already with Master of Wine & Miami Bound.  And to be honest I'd rather trust the collective knowledge of the ADATR crew than my own thoughts.

Boxing 6 with a small outlay can still pay a decent dividend especially with a F4.  I first struck upon the idea when you made mention of a collect in the Caulfield Cup (?) a couple of years ago.  Think it was a Box 6 F4 IIRC.

Interesting, never done that with 6 runners.

Yep Macca, that was a fluke and a half but that’s what you’re looking for in Lady Luck.

6 is a good number and like you said it doesn’t have to be a huge outlay.

Fierce Impact or Kings Will Dream for mine in the Makybe... Unsure which way to lean at this stage ?

Had 'em both in mind JV,  don't worry!

And putting together an exotic combo is not necessarily for my benefit.  Anyone can use the picks.

I'm a great believer in team and with regards to the punt, I'm not sure the team aspect has been explored properly.  Just my view of course.

For instance,  I'm liking the extra best bets that we currently have this Spring.  The large multi is an option especially for a small outlay but I also like to pluck the eyes out of the picks for straight wins,  double's or even a treble.

Got 4 collects last week out of the 6 picks and turned a profit.  And all our choices this week look like standouts to me.

Hi All,

I think I spruiked My Gold Bracelet on here and it came 3rd after a wide run last start. In the Price/Kent Jnr stable from NZ looking for Black Type Glory.

It's at 10-1 fixed in race 4. Only 4-1 on the tote.

I expect Oliver to ride a double in races 3 and 4.

But my roughie this week is in Race 1 at HQ.  Roland Garros .

They are predicting 20-30 mls of rain and Roland Garros has proven Heavy track form.

Currently about 26-1 and definitely worth a bob each way to get you off to a flyer.

Happy Punting and good luck.

If you barrack for the MFC God knows you deserve it.

...And 'Rolling Fog'

Interested in posters thoughts with regards to the Makybe Diva Group1

I've got Master of Wine as my best bet (place only) but I'm thinking of taking out a box Tri or Box F4.

As much as it's often best to leave the best bet races alone I don't want to curtail any conversations on a big Group 1.

I do fancy Master of Wine but the exotics could pay a bit on the race.

So feel free to proffer up your choice

The event is Race 7 and the field,  form & odds in a post above (near the top of the page)

I like Fierce Impact now ....5 from 5 placings in the soft, have to throw it in...

Ok so we've got Miami Bound,  Master of Wine,  Fierce Impact,  Kings Will Dream and I'll throw in Russian Camelot & Warning (for a bit of value.

Betting has closed!

Good luck today to all the punters out there and lets hope the ADATR choices come through with the goods!

Anyone give ABN (Flem R9 No.2) a chance? The fellas at work are hoping for some luck. I dare say a few of them if not all will be calling in sick on Monday if she wins. In excess of 100-1 earlier in the week. Good luck to them.

Its sectional ratings are the 2nd best in the race, however most of those were recorded on the good. Being out of Night of Thunder you would think the rain affected ground would suit. Certainly has come in. Wide open race.

Cherry T looked to get a bit far back, but made good ground to hang on for 3rd.

Arcadia Queen great run and just missed really.

Still no rain at Flemington and remains a Good 4

Apologies a few technical issues at Chateau Fog this morning. Here's a few thoughts for this afternoon at headquarters and Rosehill:

(I've tried to go with picks that haven't been posted already, but apologies if I'm doubling up anywhere)

Best Bets:
Flemington
Race 5, No. 7 - Toffee Tongue - it's a wide field and I also like Shot of Irish and Aktau in this race, Toffee Tongue EW I think
Race 7, No. 4 - Fierce Impact - again, another wide field and I also like the look of Russian Camelot and Master of Wine, EW again I think...

Rosehill
Race 5, no. 7 - Mo'unga
Race 6, No. 1 - Farnan
Race 7, No. 5 - Funstar

Best Value:
Flemington
Race 9, No. 13 - Yoesmite
Race 6, No. 5 - Tshahitsi

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
