Big time! They're saying hold all tickets on RSN but I think that'll come to nothing.

Have never seen that before either...

I was on Age of Chivalry as well and it was a good tip by RF ... just beaten by a real good horse in Showmanship.

I'm in front with our tips anyway with 2 real chances to come.

Spewin. beaten by Night Raid.

Pop quiz-Night Raid was the sire of which Multiple Group One winning Horse?

Disappointing run from River Night.....went backwards....maybe 1000 is its go.

We did very well though today... 6: 3.1.1 outstanding tipping team !

Whats the overall Macca?

Surprise alright by Humidor, bugger. Been fun fellas.

Hope you all forgive me for the Gunnamatta tip with the Ghodeleine place

As a cigar smoker I usually put a small amount on humidor, didnt. And he cost me a multi and The quaddie

Surprise Baby replaces Russian Camelot as fav for the Melbourne Cup @ 9/1

Friends horse is running tomorrow in Geelong, race 5 Gigantic Effort, paying $10, no idea how it will go, was held up last race and pipped at the post, think this is a stronger race tho.

Ended up in front for the day Wadda but what could have been hey?  We started off like a house on fire.  Still managed 4 collects from our tips so no complaints.  My motto is that if you keep getting collects you'll end up in front.  I was once again at work all day so only a bit of audio intermittently.

Strike Rate 11: 5-2-1

Australian Group Racing

And for those with a keen interest in overseas racing there's a full program of group racing to be held at Churchill Downs tomorrow morning (including the time-honoured Kentucky Derby)

A couple of other Group 1's are on offer and Sha Tin is back in operation as of tomorrow as well.  The ADATR thread never sleeps.

Kentucky Derby Group 1 2000m $3.6Million 9.00am

Stakes Program: Churchill Downs (7 Stakes Races in all from 4.55am)

Haydock (UK) Sprint Cup Group 1 (12.25am)

Saratogo (USA) Woodward Hcp Group 1 (7.30am)

Sha Tin Sunday (Full Program) ... Race 8 is the feature event

It was a top day i thought Macca, pity you had to work. Hopefully you get to see some good racing over the Spring. Definitely here now. We were pretty unlucky in the latter races, although mine was well beaten.

Im also wondering Macca....if somebody posts their BB as a place, and it runs a place, is that not a correct selection, so therefore its a winner? Thats how i came up with the tally of 3 winners today. Conversely, if someone posts a horse to win and it runs a place then its a place.  I guess it doesnt really matter, just think we have a better strike rate than 5, i think its 6. But it is a bit confusing i guess.

I'm not sure Wadda .. we got 2 winners and a 2nd last week I believe

And today we got 2 winners and a place pick up (3 correct then?) ... as well as a 2nd & a 3rd from 2 other win picks today

I think it's just the 5 total wins Wadda but by the way,  that's more than decent in terms of turning a profit.

And I don't think I've seen a Saturday race live in nearly 18 months now.  But I'm in the business of making money so long live capatalism!!

Nearly twice as busy because of this damn virus.  Go figure

Anyway,  playing with house money overnight & @ Sha Tin tomorrow ... the last 4 races (Quaddie legs) at Sha Tin tomorrow seem to be good betting races too.  Moreira & Purton feature heavily of course

Yes was an excellent day. Ok, long live capitalism haha....its certainly got a big dent in itself lately, the stazi might be making a comeback soon.

I recommend catching a few replays if you get the chance. Some excellent finishes and Dwanne Dunns barrier headbutt, hope he doesnt get suspended for destruction of VRC property !

That was an excellent place pick. They are often a lot harder than you think and especially at a good price.

Really well done.

Yeah sitting up late watching the Tour de France & a bit of the racing from the UK Wadda so will watch the replays in between.

Didn't even hear the 'Nature Strip' race ... but I thought the horse might not have been quite ready.  Will be next time you'd imagine (get better odds?) but by gee,  Gytrash is a good horse.  Just keeps winning against good company.

Just got a 12 leg multi on the port game so I’ve finished the night in style. Happy days.

12 legs!

Did you win enough to purchase the MFC Gorg?

We need someone of good standing to get in there and clean the joint out.  Drain the swamp or whatever!

I had a couple of SGM's on for the Port vs North game too and both fell over by one leg!

Higgins +20 touches, ended on 19 and Duursma +15 touches, ended on 14.

I swear my SGM's are cursed, I'm the master of falling over by one leg!!

Italian GP qualifying is also on right now if that's your scene.

I've got a few quid on Aussie Dan to make it through to Q3.

It was steaming home on the outside too... Might be one to follow into the spring

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
