Far too much money is getting buried in offshore trusts & other hideaways,  so the wealthy can avoid doing they're share's.

they are bludging off the country & off they're fellow country people.

 

Instead of a broad world class Health Sector across this Nation & it's regions,  & education,  public transport,  etc,  Fast Trains running inter-capitols,  we are trying to take more from the poorer.

 

These people stealing from this nation are a disgrace.

No DL I heard Tony Turnbull just yesterday describing the construction unions as the biggest threat to our economy so nothing to be gained from all this Panama Papers stuff, so what if individuals and companies are avoiding tax on an industrial scale across the Western World, that is nothing compared to what those foul mouthed ruffians at the CFMEU are doing to the construction industry here. I mean we can all see the lack of construction happening in Melbourne and Sydney CBD's  every day, NOT! 

What at is it about our federal politicians, they are always fighting the wrong fight?

I agree Re the wealthy using off-shoreity's  to safeguard their hard earned,  & keep the rif-raf down.   "they worked hard for the money".

 

But I did work as a safety rep & shop steward in the 1990's,  & there was some heavy handedness coming into it then  (people).    Other (unskilled) outsiders,  trying to get into well payed jobs.  They will do anything to get into a lucrative longterm position. Unfortunately. 

however on the sites I worked on there was mischief but nothing serious.  some of the others unions did a bit of stalling slow down stuff,  here or there.

But generally the big site ran fairly well,  & only one serious injury where the concrete contractors tried  'a sneaky'  during lunchtime.  a fella got a broken leg.  that's about the worst of it,  over 3 to 4 years.   not too bad for a huge site.

 

But I'm sure it got worse after the early 90's recession.   Just as Australia was growing enormously.  but corruption is EveryWhere...  in unions, in Governments,  Especially in big business over the world,  in the churches, in the Law...

So our unions are small fry,  & an easy political target.    Compared to what big business's are doing around the world.

Most women workers & office people would have no idea what it's really like to work onsite in construction... 

It can be a really dangerous game,  & many lives get lost nationally in the course of a year.   Including the general public,   if you happen to live in Qld,  or WA,  (or in melbourne near Lygon st, on one of  g, rollo s ite)  where the laws can be overlooked. 

They  (interstate),  have a tendency to drop loads off Tower Cranes, especially in QLD,  where it seems anything goes.  They typically like to drop Concrete Kibbles from a great height  (around 9 or 10 tonnes)  onto the gantries covering the footpath .  This is the business mans mecca,  where favors can be bought.

 

On the Federation Square site,  the politicians like  'kennet'  kept blaming unions for cost overruns,,   Bull Shitte !!!  it was the way the job was setup contractually that caused the financial banquet that it was.

...  all the geometry,  those angles were essentially  "build it",  then tell us how much it costs us.  $o the sub contractors had a field day,  as well as the deSigners,  as they kept building it,  then pulling it out & changing the design,  while people sat around doing nothing for days.  Then rebuild it again, to the new drawings.  So it seemed like the de$igners were working hand in hand with the builder$, & $ub contractor$,  to $tretch it out.

 

The politicians always like to play divisive politics,  playing their side of politics against the other classes.   & with nil truth.  this happens all the time.

and you know what 'they'  (politicians)  aren't talking about the enemy overseas in a battlefield somewhere...   'they' are hanging shitte on fellow Australian hard workers.

I think the right is on the rise since the Asian century has taken effect..... & we had/have the GFC global financial crisis... & still do.  Re the currency rates etc.  the trade deficits & Chinas holding of US debt etc.

 

We are living in a time of great upheaval as they say (the prophets)...  in all sorts of ways.  everything is falling,   'out of balance'... 'out of harmony'...  the environment/climate,,,   the worlds financial situation with the changes of Asian century,,,   the females attack on males, without recognising they're own part they play in all this stuff going wrong,,,   everyone wnats their own point of vioieww to stick & win.

 

......  as the prophets say,  this is the beginning of the end of the male aspect of god,,,  the end of the old era,  & we IMO are in  ('NoTime') or  'the time of troubles',  or  'troubled times',   I think it says in the Bible ?   this is ahead of the 'NewTime',  Age of Aquarius.  the new Age.    or  'the Female aspect of God'.

The modern Women today think they are the new frontier,  they think they are changing the world,  & that they will take over... but they are Not.   All they are doing is just imitating the men they fear & despise.

 

They are the same as the aggressive men they have operated under for decades.  Exactly the same culture.   Just they are demanding. just the same.

A few points here.

1) Saying Tony Turnbull is a massive insult to Tony Abbott. Abbott repealed the carbon tax as promised, got rid of the mining tax as promised, stopped the boats as promised (and we were told couldn't be done), signed free trade agreements with China and Japan. Turnbull has done ummmm

2) It is more concerning that Turnbull was business partners with Wran than Turnbull's name being called out in the Panama papers

3) Avoiding tax legally is not a crime. The CFMEU has been found guilty in a Royal Commission of systemic criminal activities. Both maybe unethical but only one is illegal.

Hate to nitpick W45 but Royal Commissions don't find anyone guilty of anything, they report on their findings and may advise that matters are referred to the courts for judgements.

I am reminded of this by the Costigan Royal Commission into the Painters and Dockers Union which backfired on Fraser and lead to the bottom of the harbour tax rorting by the wealthy and of course the damning allegations against Kerry Packer. That volume of the Costigan report has been buried for decades, it will make interesting reading one day if it is ever released no doubt. 

Upon Packer's death the likes of the abominable Singleton and Shockjock Jones rounded on Costigan for what he did to Saint Kerry and their sincere hope he was burning in hell, being too lazy or stupid to work out if he was dead or not. Costigan's response was to say all he did was receive evidence from other parties, he made no judgement on our Kerry! 

Anyway I digress Wrecker, but I am surprised that a stickler for detail like yourself could get this detail so wrong but then again you have got so much else wrong in your failure to interpret climate data I should not be surprised at all.
