Paul Roos on AFL 360

Not so. There was a draw against the Swans in there somewhere.

OK pedant, we haven't won the last 9 then

What do people want Roos to talk about?

Club secrets?

Football Dept tactics?

Did have to chuckle at the "nobody remembers round 1" line. Some of the spankings we have copped in round 1 recently are some of my darkest days following the club. I remember looking so pathetically static and off the pace against the likes of Brisbane and Port.

And the thing I find most remarkable about all these round 1 losses, is that we went in as favourites in many of them.

No, he just dodges questions and as other have mentioned talks broadly about things.

Politically that's fine, but you get more substance from a Matt Burgan interview and very little insight into Melbourne at all other than reminding us of how bad we have been in the past (for thos who did not realise this).

That's all that the broader Audience need to know right now

Once the ball is bounced he can talk more.

I see that the honeymoon period for fans is over :P

Time to deliver.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
