better late than never huh Clint ?? ( wonder if we'll get a freebie ?? lol )

think it looks better actually WITH a little navy trimming...collar and shoulders.. They can leave the side panles off.

Love it!

I'll wait until it is confirmed as a clash jumper and not a training jumper before getting too excited.

Cant see why it might not be though. Its normally the Playing jumpers on sale at most outlets...and training gear form the clubs is sold mainly by the clubs.

The Club recently hinted " we might like the surprise"

And as far as "clash " jumpers go its the very best one , but then we might be biased ^_^ Needs the navy trim though imho to smarten it up a little

beats all the cartoon and pajamas versions though ...by a mile.

Says it all...We are the MFC...what more is there to say :)

Interestingly the "emblem" has been quietly dropped.

Red or blue shorts?

white probably....home team to wear dark........if any sense about this !!

Isn't the greatest light in that photo...

I will reserve final judgement until its confirmed and I see it in a decent light.

If it's a blood red I think it will be a good enough clash jumper.

White shorts won't be a great look though...

sorry....i need a bucket

Yes, vomit does come to mind!

similar to .......perhaps

again....via Clint's efforts

Really like this!

how about this but with a darker blue?

il_fullxfull.283350450.jpg

That will probably give other players head spins!

Hope the numbers are blue just to give them a touch more blue as they didnt go with the blue trimming

logically they are "lightening" the jumper. Big dark numbers doesnt actually do that...just saying

If we're allowed to wear a red jumper, I'd hope we're also allowed to wear red shorts with it. Sydney wears red shorts when they're the away side in their normal jumper.

whats wrong with white shorts ????

THATS A FOOTY STRIP

Red jumper and shorts is bloody pajamas again ...yuck !!

No shield logo on it. Logo change to the monogram looks to be gaining traction

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
