GOODBYE MITCH CLARK

Whatever inner context that has in your head, I don't get in.

Care to elaborate?

It was a reference to his instagram site `.

the one he has been working on to cure the depression/lisfranc/hammy thing.

I don't want you in either.

I didn't have a go at him, it was a mere statement, I didn't call him names or make accusations. I didn't demand answers. I said it would be nice for him to make comment. Yes, some [censored] called me a 'weenie'

I stand by the club's latest motto "Cur nos vexatum." If Mitch walks and we get stuff all compo I refer you to our motto that is in English " why should we bother?"

Do people really think harassing him via social media is a great idea? It's been 10 hours and people here have wound themselves into a state of paranoia.

Just like Frawley, lots of people savaging him before a comment/decision has been made.

Calm down, wait for an announcement from his camp. As many rational people on here have already said, there has been no quote from his manager saying it won't be at MFC.

I get this...and yet....

the yet goes to the idea that Mitch himself sets many a tone by tweeting and instagramming himself. This is HIS world. He cant now be allowed to step aside from it.

Okay.

In your head? Fear not, little one....

come on mate, get with the times. I'd do it myself but i think the comments on his insta are all very minor. He basically just told someone to "butt out and not comment on things they don't understand etc."

People were perfectly happy when he came to Melbourne after originally wanting out of Brisbane to head to Perth because of his sick grandmother..

The thing is to me TSFKA is that Mitch has been very keento use Twitter and Instagram as some form of propaganda tool. He doesnt like being called on it or at it,

Mitch ought to remember the maxim " oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive " and somehow when caught out he attempts to clean up his mess...heads up Mitch...YOU cant UNCLEAN THE WEB . Welcome to your deceit.

I kind of have mixed feelings on this. I think anyone who has experienced any form of depression would do the same thing...and completely detach themselves from the past...I mean I think that is the most important component of recovering from depression. So idk...I'm not soo angry anymore once I have actually thought about it.

No one likes being bullshltted to. Do you ?

I mean don't forget guys...his mind is probably still unstable. I doubt you can just recover from chronic depression fully in the space of 5 months. I only understand his circumstances because a close friend of mine also suffered severe depression.

there are honourable ways of doing things.....and then theres..................

FCS, sorry... but anyone saying we should give him the benefit of the doubt and wait for a statement needs to accept some facts. The official AFL website says he has contacted the AFL directly enquiring about his options for returning to the league. That's right, he skipped going to his current (technically) employer, a football club, and went straight over their heads to the league itself. That alone speaks volumes about his intentions.

If you retired from your job and decided you'd had a change of heart, do you talk to your former manager or the company's CEO?

It's over. Time to accept it and watch the [censored] unfold. Thankfully we don't have morons running the club anymore; Roos and PJ will not be taken for fools on this, which it sadly appears MC is treating them as.

If he's unstable then for god's sake, our leadership group should be getting straight into his ear. Weren't he and Dawes incredibly close? He said a huge part of the reason he came to the Dees was to play with MC for crying out loud.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
