There are many people who value the site a great deal but will only donate when there's a call to action like this.

I wonder if we could have a donation progress bar, that gives users the target to reach every 6 months or every year. At least then, we'll know where we all stand.

Not so sure, finances aren't so good and to shame me cos I can't afford to donate would be humiliating....with the new budget it's not getting better

Embarrassed to discover that my annual sub expired a couple of months ago. Now rectified. Many thanks to the Administrators for maintaining the site. Been a bit difficult to justify supporting the Dees over the past few years (especially to those ever so sceptical Gen Y types). Demonland always manages to keep the 'flame of hope' burning for the true believers.

If you scroll to the bottom left corner of the page does it say "Use Mobile Version"? If so clock that. Not sure why it isn't loading automatically for you. What phone are you using?

I'll settle for a "my heart doesn't sink every time I load the site" point. :P

I hear ya.

There's a treatment for that but the side affects are worse than the cure.

Gotta keep this post near the top to ensure all is not forgotten.

Getting closer to this goal $670 to go.

Don't rest on your laurels, we all get so much value out of Demonland.

They shouldn't have to go cap in hand to all us users.

Congratulations must go to Andrew and the boys for doing such a great job in keeping abreast of running the site.

That worked. I'm using a Note 3

Only $570 to go folks.........It may not sound much, but it is $570 that Andy has to get out of his own pocket.....

http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/donate/

The folks at Demonology are facing the same scenario, and have started a drive as well. These sites cost the owners money to run.

With so many participants, and the pleasure that Demonland brings to us, a small donation of $5 or $10 is not too much to ask surely?

I have just installed a new Work Friendly skin for those users who browse the site at work and would like it to blend in a little better than the red and blue of the normal site skin. The Work Friendly skin is sure to fool your boss and work colleagues into thinking that you are working and not goofing off on Demonland. This is an added benefit for those that sign up as Annual or Lifetime Member.

Here is what the Work Friendly skin looks like:

I'll happily kick in but when I go to the page to join it won't let me do anything. It's a chrome problem and I'd use firefox but I can't remember my password or which of my myriad email addresses I used when I joined.

If someone in charge wants to PM me either a better way to pay or something that will let me post via firefox I'll happily part with some of my hard earned.

I sent you a PM with direct deposit details if that suits you better.

You probably weren't silly enough to add the app to it that I did that made it go stupid. On some forums it won't let me use the quote function and on others it's purely read only. On one forum things seem ok but it won't let me upload an avatar. It copes better with D'land than many other places but as I found out it still has its moments.

I'm gradually moving everything to Firefox but until I can remember my password or the email address I used for here and a couple of other places I'm stuck with my clunky chrome and all its quirks.

CT have you tried reloading Chrome?

I use Firefox and the only problem I have is it sometimes for unknown reasons loads my comments twice.

Not sure if that is Firefox or Demonland as only started recently

I would but I'll lose all my remember me's. I probably will one day when it annoys me enough, but for the moment I work around it or just start new profiles via Firefox when I can't. It's the price I just have to pay for being retarded when it comes to technology.

heh. Looks like I can't reply to PM's either. Can you send another PM with the name of the bank, or will the numbers be enough for any bank to do what needs to be done?

You are not on your own but it seems like you have reached a crisis point.

Good luck

It's Westpace but I don't think it matters. The BSB is the Bank identifier.

Also you can change your password in the settings of Demonland.

I think the double posts is a Demonland thing but I thought I had that under control. Is it still happening? If it happens again. Shoot me a PM and let me know which thread it occurred in and what platform you were using (eg: phone or PC and then what type iphone or android).

No ads, cool!

When I saw, End of Demonland, I wondered why anyone would pay a lifetime subscription. It made me wait for a few weeks.

Perhaps, "Demonland needs money to grow!" Minimise peak time jams, no ads etc.

I really did put off paying, then I thought that I have already had $70 enjoyment so if you do go I won't feel bad.

Thanks.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
