I've just shared the video on the Demonland Facebook page.

I paid $33 to boost the post and that has the potential to reach 5,000 to 10,000 people.

Brilliant work. Hopefully that puts a dent in it it!

well played

I think the highlighting of it on afl360 on Tuesday helped - hopefully Garry can pull some strings on the Footy Show and give it more publicity!

It would appear the vast majority went the comedy route and of those, St Kilda is deservedly in front. Not riotously funny, but it's entertaining. Compare it to Hawthorn's for instance. God awful.

However, even if I take my MFC hat off, ours is clearly the best. It's very easy to turn a theme like that into a sap fest, but it not only avoids doing that, you almost have to not be human for it not to leave an impact.

Great subject matter, well produced, but more than that, it stays with you for some time afterward. if we're talking films here, however short, it ticks the boxes.

we're coming second on pure points to fremantle, they have about 500 more SHARES which is the killer.

SHARE SHARE SHARE PEOPLE!

Also, what would happen if we won the flights? Would we ACTUALLY go?!

Great video and makes me very proud of my club. Just hearing Sydney's words at the end, "it's awesome, it's awesome" says everything about our club, our players, our game and involvement of our supporters. A memory young Sydney will remember forever. Love it.

Melbourne finished 2nd! :) well done boys! tickets to Arizona for altitude training :)

I presume the saints finished first, there's was fantastic until their song and the giant squib Riewoldt.

I just watched the bombers one and theirs was garbage, nothing creative or entertaining at all.

I was a big fan of the dockers one, it made me have a good laugh - I thought it was very creative.

Thing is are we even planning on going to altitude training?

I wonder what's going to happen with Clark and Dawes?

Will they do it twice and have to change their program?

Edit: typo

how the bombers finished 3rd i do not know! it really was garbage like you said. Also i agree with you on freo. it should've been 1st melb, 2nd freo and 3rd saints. the rest were pretty ordinary.

edit: but i guess it doesn't really matter, we're off to arizona!

Very disturbing.

One day the kid is going to grow up and be very very confused by what's happened if he hasn't been already.

If the dad was really trying to make his son happy by duping a few teams then ok we move on. If it's something even more sinister then I hope he gets some help.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
