I wonder if this will have an effect of the timing of the Roos presser given PJ will realise MFC supporters will have lost the plot?

This happened a long time ago.

West Coast's list doesn't look in as good a shape now - as it did a couple years ago.

Kerr and Cox have a year left in them, Glass is on his way out.

Next year, West Coast will have to fast track their developing rucks for when Cox departs.

Nick Nat is fairly injury prone.

If rumors are true that Shuey is leaving, then they'd want to hope like hell that Gaff doesn't follow him.

I thought Shuey and Gaff had signed earlier in the season. Selwood I thought was the recent query?

Rumour on Facebook on that stupid AFL trades and rumours that Roos was waiting for the west coast job to because vacant.. The guys that run that page has more credibility than my grandfathers jocks!

When Roos says he's now 50-50 to coach us,i think we could be reading this wrong.

It could also mean he's 50-50 to coach either Melbourne or West Coast.

I wouldn't rule him out of the WC job if Woosha doesn't re-sign and his best mate Rossy Lyon is over there.

This is just the sort of thing that could happen to us at the 11th hour, the Eagles swoop and we're in the crapper again.

I tipped this 5 days ago.

3 nights ago On The Couch he said he'd make a decision on Tuesday.

That's giving West Coast a deadline.

He's gone!!!

He has history with Brisbane, and still said no, he publicly declared an interest in the MFC job, met the leadership group, most of the media and demonland have been convinced it's a done deal, clearly we are still way out in front if he hasn't signed already.

why would HE cause this media circus if he wasn't going to take the job? he isn't that sort of person.

if he won't move to Brisbane he certainly won't move to perth.

I think another example of credibility rating may have been required...

Bhutan? Seriously? Of all the places...< Hoping Selwood's review was a trigger point for Worsfold quitting.

Bhutan is actually one of the few places I want to visit before my time is up...just me and my camera.

It's one thing to be paranoid, it's another to abuse someone based on your own delusion.

The Ross Lyon situation was well documented to be purely financial .

From all reports we have put the big money offer that is unlikely to be bettered

I hope they give some sort of indication at the Bluey just to put everyones mind at ease.

If you watched the WC presser, Woosher caught them by surprise - I'm thinking he may be talking to Lions, I'm also believing WC when they say they didn't see this coming and haven't spoken to any candidates. Their words were along the lines of "we have more respect for Woosher than to have spoken to any prospective coaches before tomorrow"

we are safe guys, or if not, its time to follow Storm

Listening to league teams with David Parkin implying that he felt like woosha had lost the players and quit.

They are all talking about burns and sumich

No mention of roos

I hope PJ doesn't bend just so that a few worried supporters can be put at ease. He's on top of it.

He may well be on top of it, but we are all about to top ourselves.

Can't imagine this dragging on for another 4 whole days.

Is there anyone more resilient than a MFC supporter? Or anyone just a numb?

Dees supporters are like one of those M C Escher drawings in that we are going up while we are going down.

Can you unsign once you have signed?

Coming weeks? My heart won't last another 3 - 4 days!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
