It's criminal that he's even on an AFL list.

Mckenzie as well, go tackle blokes in the VFL

Well he obviously didnt play, was referring to him in recent weeks.

Nicholson should be renamed butcher of Baghdad and Mckenzie should be renamed cant pick ball off ground. They would both be great amateur footballers but should never ever play afl again

go to show the intelligence of our supporters

Elaborate please

go to show the intelligence of our supporters

Here we go again - Demon 3165 attacking everyone who dares to criticise players and coaching staff in a side is clearly the worst Demons side since the early 80s at least.

A lot of players keep getting games because we have no one better to replace them with...

a lot of love in here atm

but, but....... he's the fittest guy at the club. He has elite endurance (over a 5k time trial)! Surely that means he's on the cusp of greatness!

no dick......head I don't did Mcdonald play?..no so there is no need for someone to have a crack at him just to be smart.

Are you on hallucinogenics 3165?

He didnt play, you're correct there. Although you cant tell me in recent weeks his disposal hasn't been borderline retarded

Head I dont did what?

I agree that He didnt play and should be paid out on, but Nicho is fair game Im afraid.

that's the best you can come up with.........lmfao

I'll take that as a yes.

Just needs to improve his best bench press, and he'll be an absolute superstar.

well your a fool, but I suppose that is a given and NSC yes he was bad.

One thing I will say - at least Nicho gets the ball to butcher it - our possession stats for many other players are atrocious.

Nicholson, whilst wasteful, had the best spread of any player out there for MFC. He also tried to play with flair.

His execution will need to improve but the lack of work rate from others is a more pressing issue.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
