What Manager with half a brain would encourage this kid to sign with the MFC beyond 2014.

IMO the MFC will really need to show some big improvements in 2014 to keep this kid.

Fourth, adding in potentially ND2, and/or a FA, and/or a trade, he'll have N Jones, Viney, Toumpas, Grimes, Trengove and M Jones to deliver the ball to him - with time, and with hopefully one or two more mids, that's a decent amount of supply.

That's how I'd spin it, anyway.

He would be silly not to sign it, he get out of bed go to training and break down, I bet Mitch Clarks glad he signed his massive deal , he could've gone to Freo and got half the money, being a sportsman only a short term job, you could break down anytime.

I can't believe the trashing that we are getting over this. Martin and Hogan have the same manager, Martin has been given a five year contract, their manager has obviously pointed this out to us and said "How about it?". This is not us deparately trying to stitch him up, it's more of their manager trying to stitch us up.

Given that we have more kids around Hogans age at our club - than Freo or West Coast, I think that helps our chances.

Hogan will be a big name in football and he has every opportunity to become everything he could be - playing at MFC.

You are 100% correct that we really do need get this coaching business sorted, I really pray we get Roos, he is that good.

If he didn't want to come to Victoria he wouldn't have put himself in the mini draft, he will sign in due course.
