Injury List - Round 2 (Dawes Hammy)

Olisik - Demonland is on fire and you give this sh!t over a torn hammy?

Right now 2 of our highest paid players is sitting at Casey (Davey) or already constantly injuring himself (Dawes)

Just breaks my heart seeing the type of player that GC got with a bit of coin (Ablett), while we spend it the way we are.

And it means either Drop Mark Seller or Head Duck Pederson will most likely be named as CHF this week.

Would prefer Watts up there.

Dawes will be ok and I think Dawes, Hogan and Clark will be one of the best tall forward combinations in the game, but i cant help but wonder what sort of a midfielder we could have got with pick 20 in trade week last year...

Jesse Hogan would be handy right about now. Better news trengove and mcdonald are back!

Depressing if Trengove gets a gig in the 1sts on the back of his VFL performance.

Dawes looks like another injury prone waste of oxygen.

Congratulations! Worst post of the year.

How the [censored] can he re injury his hamstring. He was babied through the whole NAB cup, they took every precaution and kept saying our main focus is to get him right for round 1. Round 1 rolls away and Neeld said he was 2-3 days short. now this what the actual [censored] is going on.

Clearly Misson's fault. Sack him.

But Neeld hired Misson. Better sack Neeld.

Oh and Schwab hired Neeld. Better sack Schwab.

McLardy re-signed Schwab. Better sack McLardy.

McLardy was hired by Stynes. Sack him.

We voted in Stynes. Sack us.

Then sack all our bosses, and their bosses.

Then sack Gillard.

Gillies to full forward.

We sacked the Full Forward position, thats why theres never anyone there

Clearly Misson's fault. Sack him.

Is it Misson's fault they looked unfit, could not run, and looked slow?

All the more reason to move Gillies there!

All the more reason to move Gillies there!

For Casey maybe... If they're desperate

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
