I think you have said the same thing before 'rpfc' and it hasn't happened in October. A day wasted is one we never get back, I'm not interested in waiting and watching another year of sub standard performances.

I have no idea what you are implying with my username in inverted commas but you can have your blood at the end of the season.

If this year turns out the way you think it will turn out then you will have you new board, your new CEO and your new coach.

What we cannot take is another ridiculous mid-season indictment and removal of people.

Bloodlust can wait.

They are not mutually exclusive, and you will have a club well beyond 2015. Don't be so alarmist.

I am all for firings and board challenges.

In October.

I agree with your intention here.

Except that there's little or no chance it will be October.

If there's no significant improvement in team performance, the pressure on the club will be massive, well before October.

The media hounds usually try to pick off the most vulnerable coach by Round 11, which for us is QB, and comes after games against Hawks, Freo away, and Tiges. We'll need a huge improvement to survive intact through that 4 weeks (if we even get that far).

Of course, if performance does improve, then no sackings needed in October or at any time. Unless there's another 186 in the last round.

I agree that it's premature to be sacking now, but the point is: how many performances like that can the club withstand?

It is never easy or pleasant to sack people, but sometimes it has to be done - there is never a 'right' time, except now - the tough part is deciding when 'now' is - for me it was some time ago!

Now your being silly... no, I do it with everyones username 'rp'. nothing implied just a habit.

I wouldn't call it bloodlust, but I've heard the same story before about the end of the season. I don't want to go through a whole season like the last 5 or 6, by the way there is nowhere I have said I want the coach changed now but I do want the CEO changed and that should have happened at least in 2011 before they gave him the extension.

At that time people were saying "don't worry 'rjay', he'll be gone at the end of the year", then in 2012, "don't worry 'rjay', he'll be gone at the end of the year", well he's still here and we're still no good.

I want Neeld to have a chance without the millstone of Schwab around his neck, I know others don't see it that way but I do and I think it's the only chance for a quick turnaround. I'm angry about the performance like everyone else here, but these performances aren't a one off and they didn't just start happening when Neeld came on board, we had them under Bailey and Viney as well.

Go on you tube & watch the game aginst the crows,,,we beat by 70 pts

Look at the game style & attack we had & then usk WTF has this guy done to our club

Sure Bailey was not the answer...... but if you want to go another 20 rounds of garbage incl last yr & next yr, we want have a club to follow

Sacking people is the answer, look how it turned out sacking Bailey, and now they will sack Neeld and all will be fixed.

Lock in premierships for 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2019 flag is as good as ours (missed out on 2017 & 2018 due to the zombie outbreak)

I get part of what you are saying with the Adelaide game and a couple of others, but something was not quite right and heading backwards pretty quickly.

There were to many poor performances too, absolute disaster games like WC and the famous Geelong game not to mention Hawthorn numerous times. Then Viney took over and nothing changed, then Neeld took over and nothing changed. Is it the 3 coaches fault or could it just be a problem with someone that has been a constant? Maybe not the coaches fault or solely the coaches fault. No point changing the coach unless everything else is settled.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
