we've just been beaten 100-1 in the second half

this is against a fringe8 side at home

that is actually worse than 186

Bailey was sacked the next day, I expect the same tomorrow

Have the nuts to say you are not in control of a very good coaching panel Mark Neeld.

Players should be ashamed of this situation. It starts at the coalface. Pathetic efforts from most players....not all, but definitely most..

No respect up or down the lines at this rabble of a club anymore. It is just a sad, sad club now.

Leaders, where are you? Who is gunna stand up now? I just give up. Lost interest after all those years.

Embarrassed. Rambling, not really thinking straight anymore. Actually quite upset with the state of the MFC.

I will always love them but no more heartache for me thanks. Off to local footy where it is all genuine and not just about more money!

When Neeld was hired i said he was Bailey Mk II, how wrong i was, he's infinitely worse

We either overhaul the whole board, or just fold us up.

Because under this board and coach, we are going no where.

Some say it's the players, look it probably is, but they are better than the hiding they are copping.

We need to drastically change what we have in place, because we a joke, everyone's laughing at us and think we should fold and it's hard to disagree.

We need attack on the footy.

Our players are not this bad. Our list is not this bad.

There is being poor, unskilled, unfit and then there is not knowing what to do and not wanting to do it.

Something is very very wrong, with everyone, but the reality is we can't ditch the whole list but we can move on the coaching panel and hope it helps.

There is nothing left to fight for and FIGHT I have, Believe me !!!! God Bless The Late Great Jimmy Stynes , The man who virtually kept the Club afloat and now, For What !!! Not for the current situation.... !!! I Loved This Club !!! But Have lost my Passion !!!

This club has been on a downward spiral ever since Bailey started cleaning out all the experienced players. Neeld has followed suit and done exactly the same thing plus adding aging hacks & rejects to replace Rivers, Moloney, Petterd & Martin. The recruiting is shizen. We are stuffed, period.

So we pretty much agree that Neeld is not up to it, but 4 fuks sake(the players) have some pride in your own performance and the jumper, I've played a lot of footy 270 odd games and still going and not brought into every coachs direction that I've played for but every time I walk onto that field I've done all I can for my teammates and the jumper, it's not fuckin rocket science something is seriously wrong at this footy club. It's got [censored] all to who we brought in and who we lost etc its bigger than that. Why is so and so who ever he is from essendon (there whole side) that much better than who we have!!! that's [censored] like I said there some serious issues at this footy club and I wish I new the answers maybe they should give me a call I could remind them how fuking lucky they are to play a game they love (or do they?) and get paid a [censored] load 4 it

Agreed - what are they playing for? They know they won't be making the Grand final this year, they know they won't make the 8. Whats the point in trying?

We just need to change our culture - string together a few wins and the team will look totally different (will never happen)

It's time to hire Stalin as coach.

Mass shootings followed by firing squads followed by KGB interrogations.

I will bet He isn't... We have a gutless Board and many OLD stick in the MUD members that STILL think we will survive with the current Hierarchy and pathetic situation,,, I will bet if things do not change before the end of this Season we will lose more than half of our Financial Members ,,,, The ones that REALLY count !!! Record this post and crucify me if I am wrong !!!

Maybe Hitler as vice coach?

The biggest mistake we have made in recent memory was signing up this pretender and allowing R. Lyon to slip through to Freo.

I expect him to be sacked overnight.

Many on here will know that I have been a staunch supporter of Neeld despite many of the losses. I now officially don't care.

I am over in New York at the moment, I was asleep to wake up in an hour and I get a message from my mum saying "be glad you're not here the score is diabolical." I could not have imagined that, if ever I thought club pride alone would surface to make a stand after last week, especially given our history with the bombers, this would've surely been it.

Instead we go further backwards, into Fitzroy territory. If the club wants to sack him I won't be [censored] off, I feel sick. Only Melbourne could make me feel this bad in New York.

We won't beat GWS in 2 weeks.

Then we'll be rid of him.

Do we HAVE to wait that long ?????

I am now hoping we join Fitzroy so I have an excuse to Support another Team... How sad it is that it has come to this >>> I loved the Melbourne Football Club , but my love has died... Sad day for me sincerely ,,, almost reduced to tears,,,,

Tick tock, tick tock. The clock has stopped.

I thought Neeld would get at least 10 games to prove he can coach.

Seems like he will only get 2.

Goodbye and good riddance

Btw there will now also be a total overhaul of the board and management

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
