There was Ralph Lane who gained a bit of fame coming from the Peninsula and playing in a Melbourne GF. About Coleman's time

Ralph came from Frankston which in those days was in the Mornington Peninsula League so it could be him. Would have struggled against Coleman because Ralph was a winger.

CORRECT! Well done Stingrays. Ralph Lane played 72 games including being in the 1956 Premiership team. Lane was a winger but in the Mornington Peninsula competition he had to play at centre half back for Frankston to try and combat the champion Hastings centre half forward. He was also a top pro runner. Nearly as fast as Bluey Adams. Over and out for me.
