Lovell or Lamprill

Shows a yellow card to OMR

Next is the sin bin lol

If you had put Grinter 1st and then said OR Ray Biffen. I would have ignored your answer.

ONE Guess per clue. As stated in my opening post

I only did enough to see us out until the ND.

I'm going to be doing more on the run, if this keeps up. Doesnt bother me either way is fine

It's obvious from the response that your efforts are appreciated.

When I saw the thread title on the main page of the forum I thought Hazyshadeofgrinter may have started a thread.

Getting the 1st clue about right is the killer.

The early posts I did, werent lasting long enough to make use of the clues to follow.

Perhaps I have it about right now. We'll see :)

I'll post a new one tomorrow. early to mid afternoon.

FWIW I used to post regular quizzes on Demonology and found it difficult to keep the masses guessing for long.

So I found out. Someone should shoot google etc. I'm suspecting its not making it easy to keep them stumped for too long.

Or perhaps I target all our supporters suffering from alzheimers. lol

And then there a lot that have memories like elephants.

Anyway whatever its a bit of fun, takes the mind of all the media crap thats going on atm.

It seems I have been a bit too generous with my 1st clue.

Thx 45. I have had a fair few say the same. I wasnt sure how it would be received

Apart from the tanking drama, theres isnt much happening. So I decided to have a bit of fun.

I've been caught short, trying to keep up and make it so its enjoyable for anyone thats wants to have a go.

Weather's magnificent and now that Redleg's turned up we're concentrating on sorting out the experimenting inquiry.

Enjoyed watching the cup from someone's apartment overlooking the beach.

Winning trainer a former Demon and James McDonald rode the second placegetter. I knew we did the right thing by letting him go!

Deevoted, another forum i frequent (a history one) often have quizzes

The winning poster gets to pose the next quiz

If he declines the originator offers a new one

adds a bit of variety

just a thought if you get stumped coming up with new ones

The Gold Coast is great for a holiday.Doubt I would want to live up there. I have driven there and back 3 times for hols.

The time I decided to fly, my days of driving thatfar have past me.

WA is great, I could live there. Been once and thought it was a great place.

Good luck sorting that out, like everyone else I put forward my views about it. Didnt differ much from anyone else.

But Sportsbet sticking their noses in, isnt good, I have a feeling, in yrs to come,if they arent put in their box, they will have more say on betting of AFL games etc. If bettting gets too invloved, it wont be for the good of the game, imho Needs to be balanced.

Junior riding the winner, explains why he quit footy ;)

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
