Gee the tigers will kick them selfs if they lose this. Actually they would miss if they tried to kick themselves.

reiwoldt should have buried us here

FFS Neeld... Rivers BACK Dunn FORWARD

We're getting killed inside 50

if our players had 15% of the intensity of morris we would be a much harder team to beat

WTF is Dunn still in the backline? He doesn't put any pressure on his opponent at all, ffs!!

I reckon Jake Spencer's really shown a fair bit today. I like him.

We are playing like water - they are just running through us like we arent even there. Once again no one has stood up thus far.

Dunn is a FORWARD only!!! Get him out of the backline ffs!

With the possible exception of Jones..........its ugly at the ground Graeme

Neeld massively outcoached today.

On paper a pretty even game considering the changes, yet stubborn Mark sticks with a losing structure once again.

We just have no direction or idea of what to do, and you would think we'd be starting to show some sense of that by this stage of the season.

I'm not saying Neeld will fail as a coach, but so far he's learning from mistakes rather than success.

Be hard to pick "best players" today. No stand outs for Dees whatsoever.

I was thinking the same thing. Riewoldt has only kicked 1, which would usually indicate Frawley had been great, but he's sprayed about 5 other shots.

Jones is always good value. Watts has been decent, but his disposal has not been as efficient today as it has been this season. Many players have put in shockers. I haven't seen Blease for a while...

We are pathetic. No skills, no enedvour, no clue

I'm starting to really dislike our playing group. Absolutely useless

Bate, Dunn, bennell, bail, silvia etc

Another insipid performance and loss coming up. Neeld will need a much better 2013 otherwise I reckon his career as a senior coach will be brief.

Heart breaking stuff watching this team flounder.

It's got to the point where crap like this is just bemusing I'm that used to it.

Be hard to pick "best players" today. No stand outs for Dees whatsoever.

Should maybe just pick the "least worst" this week instead...

Melbourne players have no passion. If they had 10% of what the supporters have we will see a much better game. Why are they kicking backwards, hand balling to someone standing two feet from them. What are the coaches doing there. Very frustrating to watch. Too slow and too sloppy.

Dunn in the backline just isnt going to work. he doesnt play accountable on man footy - he rarely even knows where his opponent is.

Let be honest here. I can only really see Jonesy, Clark, Jamar, Howe and Sylvia as required players at this stage. Moloney bet to break it open today.

Too many maybes, too many players that just seem to be list cloggers.

Does anyone think Trengove would be in the side if he wasnt captain?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
