Someone remind me why the [censored] I bother.

Magner. To Jack. Right now. Seriously.

McKenzie

Blease is putting in alot more effot then he usually does

Our midfield is insipid, i seriosly feel for our defence

Hmm, Morton, disappointing effort there....

Jurrah bloody well chase!

Howe's kicking is not AFL standard. Neither is his decision making. The amount of tackles we've let slip and basic skill errors. [censored] pathetic.

Inside 50s against us is rudiculous. We have no chance with the ball going in so much

nope, McKenzie on Kennedy

Ok....well their best is obviously Jack, so put your best shut down man on him surely... not on Kennedy

Our midfield is shocking. Just so bad. We will go nowhere this year with this midfield, and our efforts at the end of the year absolutely have to be based upon bolstering this midfield. Our defence is good but the best defence can't handle this many inside 50s, week in, week out, and I still have faith in Clark/Jurrah/Howe (he can't kick from set shots though) to score goals if we could get the ball down the other end at a frequent, semi-competent rate.

5 goals to zip. Yawn, another quarter as a mfc fan. the players will be having a few jokes and bum slaps at quarter time to

This game is over. I've NEVER seen a worse VFL/AFL team. Ever. We won't win a game this year, including GWS at the G.

Sylvia, Moloney, Jurrah. All just jog around on the spot. If that.

Rubbish. Kennedy is far and away their best mid. He's in Brownlow winning form this year. Putting McKenzie on him makes perfect sense.

Jack is an average player at best. Kennedy is A-grade.

Seems we're back to a "Bailey" type start....progress?

Oh and that missed tackle by Watts.

Jack is an average player, we just make him look goood

No i meant at the moment. He's tearing us one. So swap and put Magner on Kennedy maybe as a change up

Neeld and Co have alot to teach our players about the basics of smart playing the percentages footy.

Our set ups from the stoppage are pathetic coaching. They should have fixed this by now.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
