This was a night of pain in early July for the Melbourne Football Club which was thrashed in a must win game. It was an ominous sign for the future that came to well and truly haunt the club later that month.

One of the worst games I have been to in recent times. Was the 1st game after Sean Wight's passing, and the players gave very little. Was an emotional time for my family (personal reasons), and then had the passing of Sean who was my favourite player growing up and beame a fairly good friend during his footy career, then to see that dismal performance.

I sincerely hope that the players that run out on Sunday just don't embarrass themselves and the Club. Stynes' legacy is being celebrated before this game, and the greater AFL community will be hoping we can get over the line. This will hopefully be the last time we can go to that "emotional well" looking for inspiration, so after Sunday, it's going to be a very long year.

It's sad that we are coming up against a team that is 0-3, and I'm praying that we will be at least competitive.

Interesting 8 of that team of 22 will not be there on sunday

and a couple of others are very doubtful.

As hard as I try I cannot see the result being much different

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     TRAINING: Monday 18th November 2024

    Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week. WAYNE RUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS No Ollie, Chin, Riv today, but Rick & Spargs turned up and McDonald was there in casual attire.     A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
