Apparently couldn't make the first training session due to the Qantas issues. He wasn't at training on Wednesday and as far as I no he wasn't part of the 3km time trial.

What's going on?

He was stuck in Alice. Virgin and Jetstar don't fly to Alice so there was no way he could get out - Tiger was probably already booked out. Probably still stuck due to the backlog.

5 days? Seems strange.

Flights were restarted on Monday, yeah? They've got a lot of people around the country to ferry. I'd suggest, firstly, that Alice wasn't a major priority, and secondly that Liam sounds like (from everything I've heard about his character and from Rudeboy) the type that wouldn't necessarily be hassled about a return immediately - although the club may want him back, he'd be more forgiving of others that required priority on flights to get home urgently etc. ahead of himself.

Forgiving of others that required priority! You telling me he can't get one seat on a plane in 5 days? What a load of crap!

Before panic sets in, I seriously doubt the rehab group would have been made to complete the 3.2km time trial.

I'd be surprised if Jurrah wasn't included in that group.

What is he 'rehabbing' from?

What is Colin Sylvia rehabbing from, or any number of other players that find themselves in that group?

I thought most people understood that the "rehab group" includes anyone whose fitness base requires easing into that sort of running.

Jurrah's fitness in this respect is poor. He can't handle huge loads from the get go.

A 3km run is a 'huge load'? Hmm.

Don't be disingenuous.

It's a 3km time trial, where the sole aim is to lush yourself as hard as possible over that distance.

Would you really expect anyone within the "rehab group" to participate?

And would you really expect Jurrah to not be in that group?

Relax guys.

He was at training yesterday, after being stuck in Alice Springs for 4 days due to the lunatic leprechaun who grounded Qantas. Neither Virgin or Tiger fly to Alice Springs so he had to wait to get a flight to Adelaide and then from there to Melbourne.

He's in good shape and raring to go.

Thanks Rudeboy. Hopefully that satisfies some of the Alarmists.

rhaz you do not understand. Unless we exercise CONSTANT VIGILANCE over all aspects of the everything that is the MFC it will surely fail.

I'm afraid you don't understand - our constant vigilance isn't stopping failure, it is allowing insight into when we inevitably fail.

Exactly. You can't stop the rain. All you can do is prepare for it by bringing a raincoat. If you're especially vigilant, you will know when it's going to rain, but that is all.

Argh! I was joking. I'm not sure if you are. Damn you, stupid internets!

Does it involve stopping to scull a pot every 200m or so? We could end up with quite a large rehab group at this rate.
